Well made (of course). Compared to WLP029, they are nearly identical. Maybe I pick 029 over 001, but Simcoe aroma flavor overpowers the difference. Saturday, October 29, 2022

Oakes	3.6 White Labs 10th Anniversary (WLP 077) Tropicale Opaque peachy colour and not much head. Orangey, peachy aroma, with some florals. Moderate bitterness, a bit of smoke, tobacco, and alcohol coming through in the finish. Starts promising but arguably too boozy for me. Sunday, October 16, 2022

Oakes	2.8 White Labs Smath WLP 1983 Dark blonde sort of thing. Only a touch of haze. Thick head. Sweet, some caramel coming out. Definitely lacking bitterness. The hops aren’t as bright as with the wlp001 and that was really the highlight. Sunday, October 16, 2022

Flavor gives bitter piney hops, zesty and tart grapefruit, subtle orange and tropical tones. Texture delivers decent body and peppy fizz. The best coast for craft beer. Wednesday, April 27, 2022

Flavor brings piney bitter hops, zesty and sweetish citrus, tangy tropical. Texture provides firm body and lively fizz. Head for the coast. Wednesday, April 27, 2022

Mr.Spooks	3.5 White Labs 10°P Pilsner (WLP 802) Just a smidge better than the WLP830, cleaner and tighter, with a grassy middle laced with grain, apple, and white bread, and a more pronounced floral hop presence in the finish. Better fade as well, lacking the hints of buttered popcorn in its sister can. Not an overly memorable pils, but a good enough pint. Saturday, December 12, 2020
Mr.Spooks	3.3 White Labs 10°P Pilsner (WLP830) Clean and crisp, with a bright cracker malt front backed by hints of grass, lemon, apple, and yeast, followed by a grainy middle and a mild floral bitterness on the finish. Lingering yeast in the fade. Undertones of butter and sweet corn. Not bad, but a bit sloppy for a pils. Saturday, December 12, 2020
Mr.Spooks	2.7 White Labs Better Haze Ahead (WLP 518) Close to being a sour IPA. The kveik yeast brings out heavy notes of tart berry, grapefruit juice, and chive, with a little funk underneath. Yeasty, with less bitterness than London Fog but also harsher, less refined. Interesting, but neither of these IPAs are all that great. Friday, November 13, 2020
Mr.Spooks	3 White Labs Better Haze Ahead (WLP 066) Dryer than its counterpart, with a heartier dose of citrus pith, backed up by stone fruit and a moderate mineral bitterness. Neat experiment drinking these two IPAs side-by-side, but both are rather mediocre overall. Friday, November 13, 2020
