Aroma of various grains and a note of molasses. Hits the mouth with a light-medium body, malt is beyond tasty, middle holds up well, finish has a sweet sensation almost like cola. I like it! Aroma of caramel and hops. Hits the mouth with a light body, malt is damn near the perfect feel for the style, middle holds up well, finish is sweet with cloves intertwined with it. Pretty damn good! The aroma is sweet, perfumed, biscuity malt, grassy, leafy, herbal and spicy vibes. The taste is crispy, firmly dry, dull bitterness, grassy, herbal, spice, leafy hops, biscuity malt, toasty grain and cereal with a drying finish. Average body and fine to moderate carbonation. Small, butter-colored head quickly to ring. Rich base malt mixing with moderate amounts of specialty malt and light acidity to provide an aromatic, balanced nose. Good mineral, low roast, low hop. Almost a hint of roast with caramel and toffee not too sweet, but nicely rich and malty. Good attenuation. Nicely balanced and drinkable without any overly toasted character or toouch caramel. Why a 7% Dunkler Bock is aliased to a 9% Doppelbock totally beats me - a clear and obvious mistake. Pours a clear, dark orangey brown with a small, creamy, beige head. Amazing aroma of dark, dried fruits and molasses - almost like a Quadrupel. Rich, sweet molasses, dark dried fruits slight roast and chocolate with sufficient bitterness. It's a clear cola brown-mahogany with fizzy tan head quickly fading to ring, light sparkle. Aroma is strong caramel, raisin, fig, brown sugar, cherry, toffee, light licorice. Aroma is malty and dark ripe fruit. Flavor’s that and a lot more: pick out figs, dates, plums, prunes, raisins, sweet cherries, a little pear, lots of malt, a little roasty, and booze at the end.
