brokensail	3.5 Triple Rock Mister Stout 2018 Blend On tap @ Triple Rock. Pours black with a nice tan head on top. A bit less sweet and boozy than the 100% barrel aged versions, which I guess makes sense. Fair amount of roasted malt, toffee, and coffee. Maybe a hint of acidity from what is a bit of an ashy note. Some oak, whiskey, and dark chocolate as well. Some roast and coffee bitterness on the finish. Mouthfeel is maybe a touch thin. Pretty nice overall. Tuesday, August 9, 2022
brokensail	3.8 Triple Rock Rye Barrel Aged Mister Stout On tap @ Triple Rock. Pours black with a tan head. Really get a nice bit of graham cracker, chocolate, and vanilla here. There's certainly some rye/whiskey and barrel character, but not over the top. Pretty restrained booze/heat, too. Some fudge, a bit of spicy whiskey and oak, and some roasted malt. Just a touch of char as well. Light earthy quality and some floral hops. Decently dry with just a touch of bitterness. Not too bad at all. Tuesday, August 9, 2022

Another one of these hoppy beers that has kind of a fruit candy sweetness to it. Orange, tangerine, and peach. Decent amount of bready malt, a touch of grapefruit, and some grass. Pretty mild bitterness to this one. One of the better offerings on this visit. Tuesday, August 9, 2022

Hop profile is kind of juicy with some pulpy orange, mango, and peach. Get a fair amount of grass and citrus rind. Kind of a gummy candy sweetness as it warms a bit in the glass. Hop profile is more herbal and dank than I would have expected from these hops. Still get some grapefruit and orange, at least. Lots of grass, pine, and a slight vegetal note. Molasses bread, a bit of banana, and mild clove. Perhaps a bit more roasty than I usually would normally expect from a dunkelweiss. Overall, a pleasant beer with a nice malt and ester sweetness. Quite light and easy drinking. There's a light grassy bitterness to the finish, but overall it's pretty mild in every facet. Not terribly sweet, but some good malt character. There's a nice bit of fruity esters here like cooked apple and pear. Sweet, certainly, with just a touch of bitterness on the finish. Not much in the way of booze/heat, which is nice. Good vanilla, some oak, and plenty of roasted malts. There's a nice toffee sweetness to it as well as a bit of chocolate. Good body and mouthfeel with a pleasant smooth carbonation to it.
