On tap @ CanCrusher’s birthday. Pours cloudy dark golden color with thick creamy off-white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma and taste are similar, mainly grainy, yeasty, grassy and a bit dusty with moderate bitter finish. Medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation. Nice summer heat chiller…

Enjoyed: On tap, into mug. (Pivovarna in Gostilna Pek) Appearance: Black colour, with small head. Aroma: Roasted malt, caramel. Palate: Light body, light carbonation. Taste: Roasted malt, caramel, bread, hint of hops, gentle bitter aftertaste. Overall impression: Although there are lots of better beers of this style, it is good enough, drinkable and easy.

Body is medium, with medium to light carbonation, texture is slick. Finish is malty, with light herbal notes and light spicy bitterness that nicely rounds the beer.

Taste starts with light sweet toasted malt and resin, follows by refreshing grapefruit, lemon and grass, mouthfeel is medium spicy, while finish is heavy bitter. Medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Well done and bitter as hell...

Pours a hazy amber color, topped with a large and nicely lasting off-white head. Very pleasant fruity aroma with grapefruit and elderflower upfront, some other fruity notes in the back with some malty backbone, very gentle. Medium light body with moderate bitterness from the start, going into a lasting aftertaste. Nicely drinkable, proper IPA. Very pleasant surprise for this pizza place brewery.

0,5l bottle at brewpub. Sold as pale ale, label on bottle has AIPA on it, APA is probably best fit for this beer. Pours hazy golden orange with decent lasting white head that leaves some lacing on the glass. Aroma is dominated by tropical fruit with pine and muskmelon notes. Taste is medium again dominated by tropical fruit. Carbonation is lively, too lively for my taste. Finish is slightly on a sweet side with average lasting pleasant medium bitterness. I left last couple of sips to really warm up, beer was still pleasant to drink with no obvious off tastes. I was pleasantly surprised, thumbs up!

BEERanje 2016. Murky golden body with a thick white head that went away slowly. Soapy, flowery aroma, slightly citric. Citric, soft, sweet taste, strawberries and graininess, gets slightly strange. Not bad, not great.

Pours a dark brown color, topped with a very small and non-lasting head, off-white color. Aroma is almost non-existant. Hardly noticeable grassy background with soury quality. Taste is very gentle roasty, a bit grassy with slight soury feel - extra gentle. Bitterness is very mild, but it’s there at least. Light and a bit watery with fairly empty taste. Not unpleasant, but just not much there.

Draught at the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy darker golden color, topped with a medium and lasting solid white head. Mild malty aroma, some grassy notes and some flowery as well. Flat, almost no carbonation. Mildly sweet, flowery with a pleasant grassiness in the body and a very mild bitterness in the end. Slightly watery and could do with a bit more taste, but still pretty nice,

30/07 Draught at the brewpub. Murky brown body with medium brownish head. Quite weak, malty coffee and caramel aroma. Flavor is bitter and sourish, dominated by coffee and roasted sugar, not bad but very thin bodied. Yeast is evident, when I came to the end of the glass I found even some remnants in it. Medium-long, dry finish. This beer is pleasant and quite nice but desperately misses thicker body!

30/07 Draught at the brewpub. Murky lighter golden body with medium sized head that went down soon. Very nice aroma, mostly lemony and grassy hopped with notes of yeast and malt. Flavor is relatively thin, but it’s so pleasant, fresh and "healthy", completely following the aroma. Long nicely soursweet unpasteurized finish with some honey notes. Very nice beer in place where you don’t expect so much. If only had a bit more body...

Draught at the brewpub. Last of 9 Slovenian brewpubs on my two-day trip through southwest Slovenia ended up the same way like it begun-with not so good beer. Brown coloured, small white head, ham nose. Slight roasted malt and burnt sugar aroma with notes of yeast in the finish.
