Clear gold beer. Dry crisp palate becoming creamier. Smooth lager malt and a decent streak of citrus. Let down by unpleasant metallic tang and a finish that is way too dry.

Bottle. Slight odor of malt vinegar (minus the acetic acid). Pale gold color with a fair white head. Thin bodied with fizzy carbonation. Flavor is malt vinegar without the acetic acid. Not much hop. Strange how the flavor immediately escapes. Finish is dry and grainy or something like. Not much here, and it is hard to pin down; never had anything very like it.

This basically doesn’t have any taste or anything to it. Very plain, a thirst-quencher and nothing else.

Honey colored beer with a small and short lived head. Carbonation is medium. It does have a nice crisp tart aroma giving an indication of hops. Flavor is pretty bland. Maybe a small amount of corn. This tastes like a light beer and has the low ABV to match. It does retain the crispness the aroma hints at and has a nice clean dry taste to it. RateBeer gives it a 6 percentile but it is a better pale lager than that.

You have to love that Milwaukee gets first crack at an obscure Chinese beer brewed 100m underground. Poured a clear light straw color with a quickly-receding fizzy white head... some visible carbonation rising. Nose was very mild, consisting of hay, faint veggie mash, and.. well.. that’s it actually. Flavors were few and far between, with pale, dry malts and hay in there.. Palate was exceptionally light with a watery, yet dry middle. Carbonation was moderate to high. Nothing offensive, but nothing to hold my interest.

nearbeer (7313) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - FEB 25, 2009
330 ml bottle. Stamp of 060118, maybe an 06 vintage? Clear golden with a lasting inch of creamy foam, and nice lace. Aromas of cream, sweet grass and hints of metallic berry. Flavor is rough grain husk, light grass and honey, nutty rice. Some slight tart berry as well. Later on, the iron overtakes the aroma completely, and the berry flavor shows up a bit more so that this one ends up tasting like a mild fruit beer. Light-medium body is creamy, fairly smoothly carbonated, dryish and lightly tingly. Not bad and really pretty sessionable, with some ale-like qualities. If this really was a 3 year-old bottle, it looks like the aging helps this one.

Patrickctenchi (7259) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - MAR 15, 2013
Slightly hazed, off-gold with a minimal soapy head. Suspended sediments (older bottle) Scent is corn malt, grass...very faint. Taste is slightly creamy, rice as adjunct, I’d guess. Watery, weak. Not exactly terrible, just not much of anything but water.

ganache (6626) - New Jersey, USA - MAR 30, 2007
Bottle. Cloying nose with light pale malt and slight whiff of flowers. Yellow body with a big white head. Light, slightly chalky body. Really no taste of malt, hops, or, well, anything. Lightly sweet, avoids veggies, and totally inoffensive, but it’s not scoring points without any flavor.

JPDIPSO (6571) - Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 6, 2006
Light straw color with a disappearing white head. grass and hay aromas. Perhaps a touch of dry malt, but quite a barren field. A chalky sweet malt flavor start. A simple sweet watery middle. Followed by an equally lightly sweet water finish. A touch of herbal bitterness comes in late and floats about. Nothing terribly wrong, just not a whole lot there. I do wonder how they brew it 100 meters underground.

This waste of a $1.99 bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy with a frothy top white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent typically carbonated straw yellow colored body and a poor lacing. The aroma was lagerish and grassy. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The mild flavor contained notes of mild lagerish grassy hops. A horrible one that I would not buy again.
