Garlic Shrimp

This is my adaptation of a Spa
olive oil
6 cloves garlic, chopped
1 lb shrimp
¼ c vegetable broth
1 lemon
2 tsp smoked paprika
2 bay leaves
½ cup Maudite
½ cup flat parsley, chopped
2 cups calasparra rice, cooked separately
Heat olive oil, melt butter and sauté garlic on medium heat for a few minutes. Add to this the broth, juice from the lemon, smoked paprika, bay leaves.

Heat oven to 500F with a large ceramic dish inside.

When the dish becomes very hot, remove to the top of the stove (quickly!)

Add to dish the mixture. It should almost boil. Add shrimps, Maudite, stir and return to the oven. Bake for 15 minutes, then toss parsley on top. Continue to bake a further five minutes and then serve the mixture poured over a bed of rice.
