This smells rank. buttery. butterscotch first note in the aroma. I'm not drinking this sample. doesn't make me think of a Vienna at all.

On tap at the source. Poured a lighthly hazy golden color with a thin sized head. Light and all these thin and watery beers are starting to all be the same ... trying to pick anything out of it.

--Sample, fonefan! -- Pitch black, no head. Syrupy nose with graham crackers and custard. Very sweet with viscous mouthfeel and full body, Cloying caramel, custard and various type of sugars. Warming, cloying finish. Did I mention cloying? Another generic pastry stout stuffed with the same adjuncts.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Hazy pale golden, small head. Aroma of bubble gum. Mid sweet with surprisingly light body and clean mouthfeel. Bubblegum and pineapple candy. Mild heat in a finish without bitterness. WTF?

330 ml can, from Kiwi Tau. ABV is 4.3%. Crystal clear pale golden colour, moderate to small white head. Sweetish aroma of pilsener malts and candy, hints of hop oil. Medium sweet flavour, a little malts, low bitterness. Forgettable.

Victory Brewing Company (ABV) Downingtown, Pennsylvania

12 oz can to glass. Starts off with a golden color no head....mandarin orange and pineapple on the sniff mixed with the smell of heavy syrup from canned peaches. Then it all goes horribly wrong. Mixing hops just makes this a bitter uncomfortable swallow. The fruit is similar to something I left in the fridge too long. Victory rarely lets me down but this one is just wrong.

Cask @ Henry Tudor Inn, Shrewsbury. Clear pale gold, white head. Struggling to taste much of anything.. very distant floral herbal notes that could possibly be interpreted as gooseberry, maybe! Even by Joules standards this is pretty bland. Bizarre.

Can, pour is pale and hazy. Smell is hoppy mild fruit. First taste is bitter as usual for this style. Hard to find the fruit because of the strength of bitterness. Hardly any co2. A little less viscous than most IPA but still quite insulting to my buds. Slight warming sensation on the finish. Another rude ass sample of the million IPA bastardized beers out there. There, you have it. Blah.

Bottle sample at a tasting. Clear yellow with white head. The aroma is lagerish, corn, hay. The flavor is bitter, lagerish, minerals. Light-bodied.

Brulo (prev Coast Beer Co.) Edinburgh, Lothian

Can 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque golden with a tiny, rough, white head - looks very lifeless. Nose is mainly passionfruit. Thin, sweet body with hardly any carbonation. Some tropical fruit melange, but not really pleasant to be honest. Sloppy beyond belief. 230424

Das Ritter Hell habe ich bei Landbierparadies24 in der Euro Flasche gekaut. Das Bier hat einen starken Geruch nach DMS. Deshalb gehe ich von einem Bierfehler aus, wenn das Bier nach gekochtem Gemüse riecht. Die goldgelbe Farbe ist klar Die Schaumkrone ist feinporig, daumendick, aber nicht besonders stabil. Beim Antrunk wieder Gemüse im Mund, deshalb breche ich die Verkostung ab. Eine enttäuschende Vorstellung von Ritter!

it’s hazy, pretty opaque, smell is hoppy bluntness, taste is mild, but mainly what I think is called “barnyard” but honestly barnyard (in the literal sense) is a bit brighter than this, with a very developing unpleasant blunted bitter aftertaste. It’s fairly drinkable but not at all enjoyable.

Auch das Alkoholfreie wird mit Altbrot 🍞 gebraut. Grundsätzlich finde ich die Idee ja super und auch viele Altbrot-Biere sind echt voll ok 🆗, aber dies gefällt mir nicht. Das liegt aber wher daran, dass es verdammt wässrig 🌊 ist, wie viele Industriebiere. Netter Gedanke,aber geschmacklich eher mau 😐.
