Saimaa Brewing Company (MBH Breweries Oy) Mikkeli, Southern Savonia

Canned. Yellow colour with a quickly vanishing small white head. Aroma is sweet apples, some grassy and herbal notes. Flavour is quite the same. Overly sweet and the hops just make this very messy.

Bleek goudgeel bier met kleine witte schuimkraag. Appel, maar eigenlijk eerder snoep met appelsmaak. Suiker. Erg zoet en doet daarom wat kunstmatig aan. Niet mijn ding.

330ml can from a friend. Opaque deep pink. Nose of those strawberry wax sweets. No sourness. Some very mild acidity. Not as horrendously sweet as the nose suggests, but I’m starting to think that pissing off the Portman Group has become TR’s entire business plan…

Orange with a large foamy head. Very salty, citric and a bit off. Medium finish and body.

Arran Brewery Isle of Arran, Buteshire, Ayrshire

This one I had seems to be a spoiled bottle, but felt the need to add this review as I haven't experienced anything like this with other breweries. Otherwise the Arran Blondes I had before were boring lager-like beers with not much extra but perhaps a bit better than the commercial lagers.

W smaku z początku słodkawe i jabłkowe, przechodzi w gorzkie roślinne nuty, skórki i ogonki, stary tapczan, kurz, wyraźny gorzki alkohol, insulina. Goryczka wysoka, tępa, alkoholowa, kurzowa, insulinowa, długa. W ustach ciężkie, ale puste, rozgrzewa i ściąga. Nasycenie umiarkowane

Cloudy yellow, large white head. Aroma is musty cereals, musty hops, wet hay, wet cardboard. This is rough ....medium to high bitterness, the business is overpowering. Stale hops, everything is just stale. This is obviously old, there is no date on the can.

Days Brewing (Better Beverages Ltd) Edinburgh, Lothian

Can. Odd one. Sweet, kinda artificial malts - like a weird 1930s malt candy that's gone off. Okay light brown pour with a bit of head. A hint of citrus/grapefruit, but it goes flat rather quickly. Can't say this worked for me.
