Almost opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry. Good fine carbonation. Mild dry dark malts, slight oxidised taste. Tea!? Mild floralness and spice. Whisper of powdery dark chocolate. Finishes light and dry with a little bitterness. Doesn’t hang together for me, the interaction between the malts and flowers producing that odd off tea taste.
Keg at brewdog... Deep black... Thin tan head... Sift dark chocolate nose... Dark chocolate... Soft chocolate roast... Light bitter roast... Soft chocolate... Nice enough Rasmus40 (21338) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAR 1, 2014
