Bottle at the Boise brewery. Golden pour with an off white head. Strong lacing evident, mild sweet aroma with a tinge of yeast. Sweet flavor with stone fruit and biscuit evident. Poured into my HotD goblet.. Hazy orange... nice off white head.. I swear both head and beer have a pinkish hue.
Nose is almost like a Belgian yeast was used (??) Big and malty with peach and lesser apricot. Wine barrel presence is pretty big with background vinous but a heavier oak. I get something I associate with light clove or even some pink bubblegum.
Flavors are all over the place with this one and somehow mesh very well... tons of fruitiness.. apricot and melon.. balanced pale malts pull and balance the fruits and then the barrels come in.. vinous but not so much as on the nose.. spicy with a bit of minor American hoppiness...

Bottle:   Dirty orangish straw, thick, moderate foamy off-white head, nice lacing.   Vinous nose, a bit sweet, a touch bready.   Vinous and oaky on the tongue, warming as well.   Can feel the 10%, albeit its not hot.   Smooth, a little buttery sweet but not in a bad way.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Sweet finish, bready, oak, vinous, with a very soft fruity flair.   Decent concoction. fiulijn (20372) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 23, 2014

Hazy light amber color. The vanilla barrel aroma marries well with the malt, mellow result. Good body strength, moderately sweet, nice malt flavor, with a clear oak barrel action, and light banana traces; the alcohol is well managed, but it adds a nice edge.
Quite good beer.
