A Northwest American-Style IPA. The color comes through as a deep gold with orange hues. Fruity and citrusy hop aroma shines, with hints of pine resin. The four hop flavor dominates, re-enforcing the aroma with more citrus, fruity and piney notes. The malt character is clean and smooth with a unique toasted flavor (thanks to the generous helping of Victory malt), all held together by a firm bitterness. Apocalypse has a medium-bodied mouth feel, finishing crisp and dry. All of this results in a very drinkable IPA.

Hops: Horizon, Centennial, Amarillo, Cascade
Malt: 2-row Pale, Victory, Crystal

On tap at Spaggo. Pours a clear golden orange with a near white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a combination of sweet grains and pine with a bit of grass underlying. Flavor is similar with sweet grains and pine with some grass backing.

Like it! Fresh hops , some citrus notes and a hint of sweet malt in the aroma. Light golden color with a thin white head. Sweet malt up front covered up quickly with a piney hop bitterness. Sweet caramel is overbalanced with bitterness from hops...but not too off-putting. Hops heavy with pine flavors. Finish is dry with nice bitterness...echos throughout the finish.

Bought this bomber on sale at my local boozeria. Nicely done. Aroma was a little subtle, but that could have just been me.

Bottle. Pours hazy gold. Aroma and flavor are citrus and piney hops, pale malt, faint toast, very faint caramel, and very soft floral notes. Medium body.

Pours a hazy medium golden. Head is almost nonexistent. Pretty looking beer though. Aroma has a nice balance of hops, pine and malt. Maybe a bit of honey too. Flavor is a bit of a letdown after the aroma, but thats not to say its bad. Pretty good hop kick right down the center of the tongue. Slight sweetness at the finish. Slightly fuzzy in the mouth, but not bad.

Small white head with fair retention and lacing. Lightly hazy gold hued brew. Nose of pine, citrrus and some fried wiring. Body is medium with a soft carbo, hint oily. Fairly dry malts backed with light citrus and pine notes, lightly grainy. Dry, lightly fruity finish, grain with a tame bite. I prefer Joe myself. Bottle from statelineliquors.

The name sounds imposing, but Apocalypse IPA is pretty goddamn drinkable. It pours golden orange with an off-white head that stays around for a while. Hop aromatics are distinctly American but rather nuanced. Piney, floral, and citrusy stone fruit notes. Grapefruit, peach, apricot, pineapple, orange, and mango flavors. Theres a bit of creaminess to the feel and a crisp mineral finish like a semi-dry white wine. Its remarkably balanced and would likely appeal even to folks who arent hopheads.

Bottle, served in the bedroom.
The beer pours a lightly hazy golden with a decent head and some nice lacing on the glass.

The aroma seems kind of Amarillo forward with that signature citrus and some pineapple stuff happening. Theres a bit of light maltiness to it, but mostly its bright fruit forward hops.
The flavor is fruity and hoppy again, lightly sweet with just a bit of caramel character. Its got some grapefruit, a little pine, some orange, and a bit of pineapple going on.

pretty decent IPA really
