Fruity aroma . nice citrus notes. In fact, sprucy overtones with a slightly piney underbite. Surprisingly thin. Maybe slight grapefruit flavor? Comes thru kinda sour. dfearnley (2140) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 2, 2015
Draft to plsstic cup. Sorry.
Grapefruit, spruce, a touch of berry. Clear, light amber with a thin white head. Taste is grapefruit, blackberry, juniper, and spruce. Brentv (672) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 27, 2015
From bottle. Pours a clear orange yellow with a one-finger white head. Aroma and taste of citrus and pine. Dry. Medium mouthfeel and crisp dry finish. dnbthompson (40) - Bend, Oregon, USA - AUG 25, 2015
Living in Bend , where local IPAs abound, and trying to keep the politics out of my feelings about 10 Barrel selling to AB, Apocalypse is not always my first choice. In all fairness, however, it is a solid product that has a huge following. There is a dryness to the finish after the initial rush of hops and then the warmth from the ABV comes thru easily. ajnepple (6606) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 10, 2015
22 oz bottle from Mulberry Max into a pint glass. Clear golden orange appearance with a white head and light lacing. Aroma of light hop resin, earth, spruce, light citrus fruits, biscuits and toasted grains. Similar flavor, adding some floral and herbal notes, medium hop bitterness and a touch of malty sweetness. Medium body with a pretty clean feel and a light dry finish. Solid IPA overall.

Bomber from Liquor Max in Loveland. This was a No CO brewery along that long line in the cooler which I had heard of, due to their collab with Stone. Golden orange pour with an off-white head leaving spotty lacing. Aroma has big citrus, very fruity, with pine and some biscuity malt. Taste is of sweet tropical fruits, pineapple, grapefruit rind, some sprucy pine and some chewy resin. Nothing too malty in the flavor, but no loss there. Medium bodied and quite sticky, with a touch of an alcohol presence. Finishes to the bitter side of bittersweet, with the grapefruit overriding the sweeter tropical fruits. Very hop forward, all for good. Looking forward to the DIPA also picked up. 14.8 nickd717 (4682) - San Francisco, California, USA - AUG 6, 2015
Draft at Stein’s. Clear bright golden color with a lacy white head. Nice pine and citrus aroma, slight pineapple. The flavor has a touch of sweetness well-balanced by assertive hops. Bright flavor with a good hint of bitterness. The mouthfeel is resinous but not too syrupy. Overall a very strong IPA. joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - JUL 28, 2015
12 oz. bottle from Berkeley bowl. It pours a nice rich golden orange color with an off white head. The aroma jumps out as very fruity with lychee, mango, melon and some fruit jellies. Maybe some hints of cat pee, florals and bread. The flavor is similarly hoppy and fairly rich on the palate with more florals, pine, fruit jellies and a solid piney bitterness in the finish. Pretty dry, and not too malty, but it has a pretty substantial toasted bread quality. Really, a nice IPA. bytemesis (8375) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JUL 24, 2015
Bottle thanks to Nolen. Pours clear orange, small off-white head, some lacing. Aroma is citrus, dank pot, cat piss, pine resin. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter, dank. Lightish body. Solid effort. chriszfat (84) - Lake stevens, Washington, USA - JUL 19, 2015
Light colored on tap. Good citrus aroma . Light malt start with building hoppy bitter finish. Solid.
