COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Northwest American-Style IPA. The color comes through as a deep gold with orange hues. Fruity and citrusy hop aroma shines, with hints of pine resin. The four hop flavor dominates, re-enforcing the aroma with more citrus, fruity and piney notes. The malt character is clean and smooth with a unique toasted flavor (thanks to the generous helping of Victory malt), all held together by a firm bitterness. Apocalypse has a medium-bodied mouth feel, finishing crisp and dry. All of this results in a very drinkable IPA.

Hops: Horizon, Centennial, Amarillo, Cascade
Malt: 2-row Pale, Victory, Crystal

RBAG summer 2012. From a brown 650ml bottle. Dark golden pour, hazy. White filmy head with spotty lacing. Pleansatly hoppy nose with pine notes, assorted citrus and caramel underneath. In the mouth the beer has grapefruity hoppiness. Finishes with a lot of grapefruity hops, Medium body with nice carbonation. Easy to drink, good hoppiness throughout.

Bottle, served in the bedroom.
The beer pours a lightly hazy golden with a decent head and some nice lacing on the glass.

The aroma seems kind of Amarillo forward with that signature citrus and some pineapple stuff happening. Theres a bit of light maltiness to it, but mostly its bright fruit forward hops.
The flavor is fruity and hoppy again, lightly sweet with just a bit of caramel character. Its got some grapefruit, a little pine, some orange, and a bit of pineapple going on.

pretty decent IPA really

Fresh hops , some citrus notes and a hint of sweet malt in the aroma. Light golden color with a thin white head. Sweet malt up front covered up quickly with a piney hop bitterness. Sweet caramel is overbalanced with bitterness from hops...but not too off-putting. Hops heavy with pine flavors. Finish is dry with nice bitterness...echos throughout the finish.

On tap at The Pub. Great IPA, not crazy hoppy, dangerously drinkable with a nice citrus and earthy spice balance.

12oz bottle pours with a clear deep gold body that has a copper core and supports a thin white head. The aroma offers up pine hops and grapefruit like citrus hops and then some floral hops with a thin soft maltiness in the background. The taste is similar as I get bitter pine and grapefruit like hoppiness with thin rings of floral hops at the periphery. Theres little in the way of late addition flavor hops here but the hop bitterness is just spot on with a bit of an assist from the mild malty base. Pretty nice straight forward IPA.

on Draft at OConnells. Decent IPA that I had never heard of but took a chance. Nice citrus hops, pretty tasty.

Bottle sample, thanks rayaron. Hazy yellow orange with a white creamy head. Aroma of fruity hops, slightly stale, a bit earthy and floral. Sweet, fruity, grainy, caramel, grass, herbs, stale hops, dry bitter finish. Medium-bodied. OK.

Bottle. Slightly hazy orange with white head. Sweetish aroma with notes of fruits (peach, banana) and flowers. Sweetish flavor, fruity, light hoppy bitterness, notes of citrus (orange, lemon), dry. Medium-bodied. Clean and nice.

Plain transparent orange with a clinging white cap. Aroma is honeyed apricot, muted pine; pleasantly herbal and floral, lavender. Some astringent white tea qualities. The flavor projects a chalky bitterness, lacking definition, and a basic citrus peel fruitiness. The palate is dry, brisk, relatively light. Cleanly floral finish. Nothing off or incorrect about this but it lacks a necessary quenching quality somehow, which cant be considered an objective issue.

Had on tap at brew pub in Bend. Clear & yellow. Strong citrus smell. First sip is good but gets a strong plant-y aftertaste.

Nose is pretty strictly straightforward IPA, but flavor is amazingly refreshing and flavorful. If you are an IPA lover, you will enjoy this.
