Nice dark amber color with red hue, clean, and with small compact head. Aroma and flavor are caramel based, the aroma is also a bit oxidized, there are enough residual sugars, and it ends with a strong component of roasted nuts; although in the final there is a bit of chicory-like bitterness.
Bottle at Chriso tasting (thanks initially to Bird) 18/11/12.
Lightly hazed dark amber with a thin off white head that clears to the edges and forms a film.
Mose is malts, toffee and a little spice.
Tastes of toffee, malts, caramel - a little bland and muted in flavour.
Medium bodied with soft carbonation, smooth on the palate.

12 oz. bottle, pours a murky dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma is certainly wintery, with notes of toffee, caramel, slight spicy hops, and vanilla. Flavour brings out wonderful toffee sweetness, with just enough spiciness to balance, along with a touch of vanilla. A big malty winter warmer here with everything in perfect balance, maintaining extremely high drinkability. Really well-executed here - excellent. Bottle - Grains and some dark sugary malts. Clear copper with a small beige head. Nice malty nots. Some plum and a nice malty finish. Nothing particularly interesting, but nice. bhensonb (15601) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 27, 2013
Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours darkly ruddy with a slight tan head. Aroma is malty with a little spice. Med + body. Flavor is quite malty, but there’s some spicy hop. Malt is rather treacle. A little maltier and it might pass for a doppelbock. This one is drinking very nicely. djd07 (15330) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAR 9, 2014
