COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This delicately balanced Strong Ale starts with dark copper color mixed with slight reddish hues and a light tan head. Big malty aroma with a Munich character give way to a slight caramel & toffee mixed with spicy noble hop aroma, all wrapped together with a medium-bodied mouth feel. German malt flavor profile with slight roasty notes give Pray for Snow a subtle toffee sweetness balanced with spicy hop bitterness and slight alcohol warming. Served appropriately in a classic snifter.

Poured from the tap into a 20 OZ mug at the Taco Mac in Atlanta. The appearance is a dark brown amber color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is heavy malt with some biscuit and caramel thrown in for good measure. The taste is similar to the nose and has a nice sweet malt taste with some noticeable alcohol. An Outstanding beer

Dark brown with a good dirty head. Smooth bitter malty aroma. Smooth malty bitter palate. Perfectly smooth. Medium body. Awesome beer sitting around the 19 barrel firepit. I wanna get snow!

12 oz. bottle. Pour is a nice deep brownish amber, clear, a nice 1 1/2 fingers of khaki head that sticks. Smell is very promising. Malty with big caramel and dark fruit notes, with a touch of citrus. Also some spicy hop character. Taste is just as good. Malty and complex with a good hop finish that doesn't overwhelm the malt. This reminds of a barley wine but much more sessionable. Good brew! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught. Poured dark brown with thick white head. Much lacing. Malty aroma, with something else, like the aroma of a fine unlit Havana cigar. Full bodied flavour, malt, cocoa, and n bietjie molasses. Malty finish. I loved this and hope theyll bottle it.

Christmas/winter ales are some of my favorites, and this is a solid one. Nice malt base. The requisite spices are present, but I wouldn't mind them being more forward. Rather, this is a heavier version, with a solid caramel flavor. B/B+ ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Appearance is a dark brown copper color supporting a thin dissipating head leaving patchy lace. Smell of dark specialty malts, dark fruits with a light sweetness. Taste has a rich flavor of the dark fruits, strong malt backbone with a touch of hops to offset the sweetness. Mouthfeel is full and slick. A very nice strong ale thats an easy sipper on the coldest days.

Deep brown body. Hearty malt backbone highlighted by a bevy of lightly toasted and somewhat roasted cereal malt complex. Sweet molasses accents. Very rich grain character.

Out of the bottle from Fred Meyer. Pours extremely dar with a reddish hue. It has a full white head that is slightly creamy. Smells sweet and malty. Taste is very sweet without being overdone. Slightly nutty and roasted taste that I cant quite place. Very unique and excellent winter beer. I am excited to add 10 Barrel to the list of great winter seasonals in Oregon!
