Was hoping for more. Was fine, but nothing special about it. Pours a beautiful red with a tan head. Smells of rye and I fermented grain. Tastes like nothing really, a bit of rye and grain in the beginning, and then nothing. Had on tap at the brewery. JohnGalt1 (1721) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 15, 2015
Draft at the Boise pub.. Polished clear light copper/orange... Soapy citrus hops with good rye flavor.. Definitely has the rye punch but is smack dab in the middle of PNW hop country... Surprised I haven’t reviewed this one yet... It is a staple for me if I’m there later at night with friends... Good Flavor without a devastating ABV. On tap at Boise pub. Pours out a reddish amber topped with a small head. Nose is rye grain floral notes and some spice. Taste is more of the grain rye notes along with a woody touch. Not bad but I am no fan of rye. Sledutah (8126) - Utah, USA - MAR 23, 2015
On tap at the Boise brewpub stchloe (1138) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 18, 2014
Hazy golden with a medium sized off-white head, good lacing. Mild aroma of malts, floral and citrus. Flavors of rye spices and citrus
Happier kind of rye, really clean mouthfeel, very toasty aroma and body, sweet rye notes are wonderful.

Enjoying the ryes here in the NW, they are much more sour in Europe. Nice dunkel and weizen elements, with some amber ale overtones. Pretty good. GT (10001) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 19, 2013
Tap at 10 Barrel in Bend, OR. Pours a clear, tea amber. Nose is sweet, sticky twizzlers, super sticky. Taste is grainy, husky, raw. Palate is raw grain, husky, tannic. Problematic. IndianaRed (5277) - Boise, Idaho, USA - OCT 12, 2013
On Tap at the Boise BP A redish amber with a smooth dense light tan head. Pretty standard fresh hop pale ale aroma. Soft and citrusy. Flavor is a bit woody and sharp, from the rye, and a muted but still flavorful hop character. pinkzambia (2124) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 18, 2013
Tap: Clear brown with a frothy off-white head. Spicy aroma with some citrus. Flavors of cereal (i.e., Cheerios) with bitterness to follow. Full body with a bitter, juniper aftertaste. Quite good. Fatehunter (2654) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - JUL 9, 2013
Poured into an imperial pint glass. One finger of head on a deep copper colored body. The aroma is fragrant with spice and a touch of flora. The taste is bold rye, sweet and balanced with a mild bitter. The texture is smooth with moderate carbonation. A very enjoyable rye ale.
