Immodest hop additions throughout the brewing process characterize this distinctive, amber colored NorCal fashioned India Pale Ale. With an ABV of 7.2% galvanized by a total of 64 *IBUs, we were obliged to create an IPA that would distinguish itself as immortal amongst the common, and with an unforgettable name. We believe we have done just that. Heroine India Pale Ale. A pint of help is on her way.

Draught at SF Soma Streat Food Park with Gary whilst watching the final election debate. Heavy grapefruit and lime pith. Quite strong bitterness, moderate plastic, lime leaves, faintly grassy, light peppery malt. Body is bitter, medium, a little bit frothy. Not bad but I feel like Ive had many IPAs that taste like this.

This was pretty tasty. An orange color, with a sustaining head. Quite a bit of bittering hops, with a dry finish.

22 oz. bottle shared by the brewer himself. Thanks again! Pours a cloudy orange color with a moderate off-white head. Big, fresh hoppy nose, with citrus zest, herbs, pepper, grass, and some balancing sweet and caramel malts. Like hop pellets in the nostrils. Same notes in the flavor but with just slightly less pop. Medium-bodied, with medium carbonation and a bitter, malty mouthfeel. This is a pretty classic West Coast IPA, as the brewer said. Hes not into the more recent IPA trends, and that shows in the beer. And its also fine. This is a really nice example of what its supposed to be.

UPDATED: MAR 2, 2016 Bottle shared in CA - cheers! Pours clear, orange-gold with a creamy topping. Nice juicy citrus and pine in the aroma, with accents of earthy hops. Moderate sweet with some lightly toasted malts, rindy orange, oily pine, tangerine, bitter grass. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Moderately resinous to close out, with more pine and rindy citrus, light alcohol, background bready malts. A good, punchy old-school IPA. Done well.

Draft to pilsner glass at Rivers End in Jenner, CA. Looks solid; malty though. A fairly transparent copper with eggshell head and lively carbonation. Smells solid too; juicy and a bit of piney hops alongside notes of caramel with a moderately bittersweet backbone. Tastes like it smells with a medium-bodied mouthfeel. More caramely than I prefer, but solid nonetheless.
