Tastes like someone watered down a light beer. Not good at all. Some hops detected in the aroma. Thats the best thing about this beer.

High Falls is talking about ways to increase their revenues. I don’t know, maybe make better beer.

So-so. There are better beers that you can spend your money on.

very smooth stuff. A bland and somewhat sweet cream ale. cheap but not really worth it

Decent balance of flavors, simple bitterness but not too hoppy. Has that classic Genny carbonation and is probably their best effort. Decent beer though being from Rochester, I am a bit biased.

They were giving away free 12 Horse shirts and bottle openers earlier this week at my local hangout, so one of my friends decided to get a pitcher. He figured, hey at 4 bucks a pitcher, its a steal. So we all decided to take a little bit out of his pitcher. After 3 or 4 sips i had learned all i wanted to know. I passed the glass to another friend who took a sip and simply replied, ’Metal. It tastes like metal.’ Enough said. We learned to things that night. Companies that have to give away free stuff to promote their beer usually make shitty beer and paying 4 dollars for a pitcher, not at happy hour, in a place where most pitchers run at least 7 to 8 bucks, is a bad idea. 4 out of 5 of us didnt like 12 horse, and the other doesnt count because he likes Miller Lite.

This ale’s been around quite awhile. Used to drink this and Ballantine IPA many years ago. Came across it again during a recent trip to N.J. Light color, but has some decent malt and hop presence. A moderate crisp hop bitterness in the finish. Some nice ale characteristics.

I was surprised by this, to be honest. Had a light color, but a moderately hoppy nose and taste, with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Its a couple notches down from say, Sam Adams Boston Ale, but not bad for 80 cents.
