On tap @ the brewpub. The aroma has some nice chocolate, light roast, some moccha. Dark brown coloured beer, bit hazy with a slight off-white head. Draft at the brewpub in Vienna. The pour results in a clear copperish-brown body with a small, smooth head of khaki foam. As the foam settles to a pronounced ring, a wet wash of lace runs down the glass, leaving just some scattered spots of lace behind. The nose is sweet and malty, suggesting of dry cocoa and milky chocolate, with hints of earthen coffee roast, burnt brown sugar, and creamy dough yeast. Flavors are a bit more balanced, as the roastiness of the coffee catches up to the sweeter brown sugar, caramel, dark dessert bread, and baked cereal. The palate is moderate in stature, smooth, and perhaps a little on the sugary side, drinking with medium-light carbonation and a somewhat creamy consistency. Solid brew. From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden deep hazzlenut brown with a small, lacing and tan head. Aroma is liqourice, roasted malt and breadish. Fruity, mild citric and bitter. Draught at the brewpub. Pours dark brown, as Coke with a big creamy tan head. Strong dark malty aroma. Taste is dark malts, chewy lively mouthfeel,.
Molasse and candy sugar dominates the tasting experience. Low bitterness. Long sweet aftertaste, really good one

Draught: Brownish, foamy head. Dark amber to brown color. Malty aroma, light hints of fruits, light yeasty. Flavor is malty, light roasty with cacao notes. Deep amber body with a tan lacing head. Sourish yeast, caramel and toasted grains in the housbeer like aroma. The cellary character comes in the flavor too with a yeasty, caramellish taste. Brown color, with an off-white, lacing foam. Caramel, roasted malts, brown sugar in the aroma. High carbonation, light body, dry finish. Not too exciting, okay dunkel.
