Also some fruits and a dry, light bitter cacao bitterness. Also a pleasnat hop bitterness in the end. Long, dry, finish. Tasty brew. rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 13, 2010
Draught at th brewpub.
Mahogany colour with white head. Caramelly and light toasty nose. Fruity, toasty flavour profile. Chewy mouthfeel with light touch of caramel and wod. Long flavour. Low bitterness. Beerlando (3343) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JUN 17, 2011
Draft at the brewpub in Vienna. The pour results in a clear copperish-brown body with a small, smooth head of khaki foam. As the foam settles to a pronounced ring, a wet wash of lace runs down the glass, leaving just some scattered spots of lace behind. The nose is sweet and malty, suggesting of dry cocoa and milky chocolate, with hints of earthen coffee roast, burnt brown sugar, and creamy dough yeast. Flavors are a bit more balanced, as the roastiness of the coffee catches up to the sweeter brown sugar, caramel, dark dessert bread, and baked cereal. The palate is moderate in stature, smooth, and perhaps a little on the sugary side, drinking with medium-light carbonation and a somewhat creamy consistency. Solid brew. A bit less filtering would yield in a more robust brew, but as it stands, it’s a fine dunkel. armando629 (2456) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 16, 2010
Deep amber body with a tan lacing head. Sourish yeast, caramel and toasted grains in the housbeer like aroma. The cellary character comes in the flavor too with a yeasty, caramellish taste. Toasted grains, caramalt and some mild hop in the finish. Not bad, pleasant one but not a big deal. nate2g (1548) - Boomtown!, AUSTRALIA - APR 24, 2010
Draught at 1516 Brewpub, Vienna. Dark copper with a medium beige head. Light roast, chocolate, nuts and a good dose of caramel. All pretty subdued in character. Low bitterness in the finish.

Brown color, with an off-white, lacing foam. Caramel, roasted malts, brown sugar in the aroma. High carbonation, light body, dry finish. Not too exciting, okay dunkel. Illini08 (542) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - JUN 13, 2008

Draught at the pub. Just has a little bit darker color than the amber one. The carbonation looks very lively with small, fast bubbles.
Buttery, toasted malty aroma. Light to medium bodied with fruity mouthfeel and dry hoppy/roasted ending. Mette (224) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 30, 2008
