COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Amber Ale, hopped with Magnum & Select, fermented with German Alt yeast. Brewed by Kiril D.
Not the newest gangsta rapper, Kiril made his brewmaster at the famous Weihenstephan University. But unlike others, that somehow manage to get the same degree, we didn’t have to explain to him the silver thing in the corner is a brew kettle.

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2018 Tap. Low off-white head on a deep amber body. Roasty grains, toffee, popcorn, some cheesy yeast. Low sweetness, low bitterness, uneventful bit nice. Medium body, hard pearly carbonation.

[2017-06-27, 1516 Brewing Company, Vienna] samea, luonnonvaalea vaahto. Paahteisen maltainen tuoksu, maussa altbieriksi reilusti humalaa.

Tap at the 1516 Brewing Company, Vienna. Pours mid brown with a amber tint and a lasting off-white head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, yeast, dark fruit and light toasting. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Close to being and Altbier and very Düsseldorf esque. Pretty good.

Well the name is misleading. This is not an amber beer. It’s downright mahogany. But a very pretty clear mahogany. Aroma has a good roast note, nuts, and dark toasted bread. Taste is very nutty, wooden, and toasty. The use of alt yeast shows the true intent of the brewer, and it is executed beautifully.

Tap at 1516. Red amber color with thick b ide head. Aroma of caramel, roasted malt, light red fruits Taste, distinct roasted malt, caramel. This is more stoutish then amber ale, but good beer.

Mahogany brown colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have a certain floral, sweet mote. The base is German Alt but with this floral twist.

Draught at the brewpub. Mild and easy to drink. But overall no sensation....... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
