Tap at the brewpub. Pours sort of very hazy rye color (or ruddy something) with a huge beige head. Aroma is fruity hoppy. Med body. Flavor is sort of ryeish, with a fresh fruit that comes and goes. Florally bitter? Whatever. It’s delicious. Very.

Scopey (15281) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 8, 2012
Tap at 1516. It pours hazy deep orange with a medium off-white head. The nose is grassy bitterness, creamy, hopsack, citrus pith and farmyard notes. The taste is initially pretty grassy, leaf, pithy citrus, clementine, assertive bitterness, tangy orange marmalade and some alcohol warmth with a long bitter-dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice bitterness. A tasty brew.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear nutbrown - offwhite head. High hoppy, abricot, grape, fruity, malty, caramel, chocolate, grassy, citrus, licorice, pine, hoppy finish. Lovely.

On tap at 1516 Brau, Vienna. Amber coloured with huge head. Extremely hoppy bitter, beautifully dry and yes bitter. Loads of fragrant flowery hops with citric overtones, excellently crafted IPA. Great stuff.

Christian (13759) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 6, 2012
RBESG 2012 - Day 1. Cloudy orange with a lasting off-white head. Hoppy aroma with citrus, grassy and herbal notes, along with a touch of vegetable/DMS. Sweet malty flavour with fruity hops and a decent bitter finish

Rune (13186) - Tromsø, NORWAY - DEC 8, 2007
100ml + 300ml draught. Easily the best of 7 beers enjoyed for some hours at the brewpub. No wonder it’s still the highest rated Austrian brew. Murky, brown coloured body under an off-white head. Appealing aroma of succulent fruits. Strongly hopped with cascade whole leaf hops. Filled with sappy, late oranges, pineapples and bittersweet grapefruits. The aftertaste is also bittersweet and long-lived. Almost full bodied. Cleverly made (Wien, 30.11.2007).

Camons (12839) - Hasselager, DENMARK - AUG 14, 2016
Draught @ 1516 Brewing Company, Venna, Austria. Pours dark golden with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, light caramel, grass, light cheesy, fruity hops, peach, light pine. Flavor is rather bitter, malt, little caramel, bitter fruity hops, little pine. Medium body, average carbonation, dry and lasting bitter finish. 140816

Tap @ 1516 Brewing Company, Vienna.
Pours nice hazy, deep amber with a big, staying, frothy/creamy off-white head. Suplime aroma, lots of hops, pine, grapefruit, citrus and flowers. Good caramel maltiness behind it. Nice creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has soft caramel, wonderful dryness in the finish. Truly well-balanced beer.
