MartinT (9852) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 8, 2009
UPDATED: JAN 18, 2009 My Bottom Line:
Growing floral hop aromatics segue into sustained oranges, resinous acrobatics all around the lean caramel malts of this perky American-style India Pale Ale.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-Sturdy foam protects the turbid dark orange, lacing quite well.
-Carbonation is pretty frothy.
-If malt flavors were better expressed, I would deem this a world-class IPA.
-The end result is perhaps not too complex, but it is highly enjoyable.
-In this part of the world, this is a marvelously executed novelty, but on a global scale, it is "just" a very satisfying IPA.

On tap at the brewpub.

Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - APR 4, 2013
draught at the brewpub. Cloudy orange-copper colour, creamy white head. Full-bodied with abitter-sweet character. Lots of resiny, grassy and citrusy hops on an intensive malt base. Delicious and very moreish.

3fourths (9332) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 20, 2009
draft at 1516 in vienna. unfiltered cloudy dark amber colored body with a frothy dark tan head. vibrant and fresh hops shows creamed melon and mandarin orange with lightly notes of key lime pie and crystalline/sugar/gummi bears. candy sweet, syrupy, cloying, too thick. caramel and honey malt seems to clash with the vibrant citrus hops. overall pretty good IPA and a gem for those americans living in vienna who crave it, but it’s a bit too weighty and chewy for my tastes.

gyllenbock (9100) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 19, 2009
On tap at the brewpub in Vienna, July 09. Not bad at all. Citrus, caramel. Hoppy but not that bitter. Refreshing.

gunnar (9022) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JUL 14, 2010
On tap @ the brewpub. Pours hazy golden with a big white head. Strong fruity hoppy aroma, citrus, pine and pineapple.Taste is supported by a nice medium sweet malty body, but those nice hops are the stars of this show. Smooth mouthfeel, resins and citrus, just lovely and refreshing. Dry hoppy aftertaste lasts to the end. Beer heaven!

Cuso (8619) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - MAY 20, 2012
UPDATED: JUN 1, 2012 Tap at brewpub. Dark brown orange color with medium long lasting white head. Aroma of grapefruit, floral hops, tropical fruits, spices. Taste, starts sweet malty with tropical fruits, later on floral hops are coming. Nice long floral hops bitter finish. Excellent beer.

downender (8592) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2008
On tap at the brewpub. Appealing reddish-amber in colour with a decent white head. Aroma of pine resin, citrus hops, oranges and a touch of red fruit sweetness. Full mouth feel, with pine hop flavours coating the mouth, accompanied by caramel, red currants, grapefruit, a slight yeastiness and a powerful dry finish. The alcohol was extremely well hidden - I didn’t notice it until I woke up the following morning with a headache. Great stuff.

kraddel (7871) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - AUG 23, 2016
Pours unclear amber, good White head. Smell is dry , bittehop, dry aromatic ( grassy ) big maltyback , corny. Taste is intense, green hops, not too bitter grassy, bit Pine even. Too bad it hasn’t got more bitterness. Weird sidenote ( plastic ) to it. Ok overall.

Cunningham (7865) - Halden, NORWAY - DEC 9, 2011
UPDATED: MAR 1, 2012 On tap at brewery pub in Vienna. Hazy amber colour with a tick off white head. Massive grape/hops and yeast nose. Solid sweet malty background in the flavour with massive hops, grape and fruit.

ogivlado (7775) - Zagreb, CROATIA - DEC 25, 2008
Draught at the brewpub.
Dark orange coloured, small white head, flowery hoppy nose. The taste is also flowery, very aromatic and fruity with notes of grapefruit and caramel. Pleasant dry finish.
