On tap; an amazing IPA in the heart of Europe. This was an awesome change from all the German beers. Color was orange with a foamy head, just like the picture. Aroma of citrus and flowers. Flavor was great. I write "whole leaf" for some reason as well as hoppy and citrus. Just a yummy beer.

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - AUG 24, 2007
Dark coppery colored, little thick yellow head. Cloudy appearance. Strongly hopped aroma, still very soft one with fruits and some caramel. Medium bodied. Flavor also has strong hops, this sweet caramel there still too. Aftertaste turns to bitter, but still sweetness dominates. Good, still rather sweet for IPA. Expected more out of this, regarding to points given.

kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 2, 2012
From Tap @ the Brewpub. The head is robust. It smells strong hoppy. There are a lot of different hop flavors, just a bit malty. Good IPA from Vienna! 12/11/11/12/-/12

Capa (3397) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - OCT 1, 2013
Copper orange with a white head. Aroma is citrus, orange, sweet fruit, light malts. Flavor is a lot of citrus and oranges, sweet fruity. High on hop flavor but the bitterness is soft. It does finish with a decent bite, though. Nice beer, but could use a better bitter bite overall.

Beerlando (3342) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JUN 17, 2011
Draft at the brewpub in Vienna. Pours a dark and hazy burnt orange amber color with a thick, frothy head of off-white foam. Steadfast, the head never fully settles, and it leaves dense swaths of patchy lacing on the glass. The nose is very hoppy, showing notes of orange, grapefruit rind, and pine over a less prominen base of caramel, toffee, and baked bread crust. Flavors largely follow suit, Falling on the hoppy, bitter side of balanced, loaded with bitter, leafy citrus and pine hops, resin clinging to the tongue. Still, it is suitably countered with bready, caramelized malts. Yeast is dry and slightly crackery. The palate is substantive yet drinkable, with balanced carbonation and a relatively crisp, drying finish. Good brew. Very similar to the original. A prototypical east coast IPA.

0,1l sample from tap at the brewpub. orange quite hazy color, medium big off-white head. smells milky, spices, lightly vegetables, smells unclean. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. strong taste of spices and vegetables again, some citric notes. seems to be something wrong with this one. Will rerate.

Tap @ brewpub, 02/04/14. Pours a hazy light amber with a good, yellowish-brown head. Aroma is mostly grapefruit, some resin. Taste is lightly sweet, resinous, mandarin and guava. Fairly light with decent carbonation. Smooth. Very nice.
