Tap @ brewpub, 02/04/14. Pours a hazy light amber with a good, yellowish-brown head. Aroma is mostly grapefruit, some resin. Taste is lightly sweet, resinous, mandarin and guava. Fairly light with decent carbonation. Smooth. Very nice. k0mpsa (3091) - Tuusula, FINLAND - JUN 23, 2013

One of the first IPAs I have tried, and was lucky enough to get it fresh from the tap in Vienna, Austria. Hazy orange, white head. Huge grapefruit aroma, with pine hops, as well. Bitter and refreshing, delicious with pine, citrus and honey notes. MarkoNm (2939) - Novo mesto, SLOVENIA - DEC 26, 2014
Pours a hazy dark amber color, topped with average off-white head. Pleasant citrusy aroma. Taste starts sweet with immediate and fairly strong hoppy bitterness. Some spices also in there. Very nice.

Pours a dark burnt orange. Aromas are very malty and dank. Flavours are bitter..quite so. Very green vegetal bitterness. Sweet caramel malts. Good. heavy (2904) - Split, CROATIA - JUL 28, 2012
19/07 On tap at the brewpub. It had hazy orange body with medium sized ocher head. Nice hoppy aroma, strong herbal and grass scents. Touch of biscuit malt becomes fully evident in the flavor. Very nicely balanced between sweet and bitter, this beer was not particularly complex but still very pleasant. Notes of wood, oranges and some toffee yeasts besides everything already mentioned. Medium to full bodied with pleasant, rich finish that ended up exactly where it started - between bitter and sweet. Nice one, almost double IPA! msbernac (2864) - Krakow, POLAND - AUG 29, 2014

Poured with a two-finger thick slightly egg shell colored head...pretty frothy and left chunky lacing throughout the sample. Some bready/sweet maltiness followed by very prominant citric and cedary hop aromas. Powerfully bitter, but balance well. Great hop bitterness comes over the palate first and it is a bit earthy, citruisy, and piney at different points. Very nice complexity for the style. Good malt balance, but doesn’t come close to rivaling the hops. Medium MF, muted carbonation and more than coats the palate. Pretty high drinkability, nice flavors along with the high hop factor. A little less aggressive than it’s US namesake. Overall, pretty fantastic brew and slightly more complex that Victory’s Hopdevil, though less assertive.
