Výčap 1516. Mútna tmavo oranžová farba, pena skoro žiadna (spôsobené čapovaním). Vôňa ovocná, jemne korenistá. Chuť na začiatku ostrá, sladká, jemne karamelová, ovocná. Horká dochuť. Pivo dosť nevyvážené s prázdnejším telom. shp555 (2024) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - DEC 11, 2007
Pours an amber color with a white head. Aroma is caramel and grapefruit hops. Flavor is lots of caramel and a bitter grapefruit finish. Nocturne (1992) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2017
Tap at the brewpub, Vienna. Hazy orange shade. White head and lacing. Lots of dank and juicy hops flavours, simcoe perhaps? Quite soft tasting, not overtly bitter. Good stuff. KeefOz (1879) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - MAR 26, 2013
Draught at brewpub, Vienna, Austria. Poured a cloudy orangey amber with a very thin white bubble head. Laced OK. No carbonation. Aroma of orange and grapefruit. Taste with the grapefruit bitterness. Light body. Long finish with grapefruit bitterness. Very different, very nice. worldbeertaste (1806) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAR 15, 2014
Draft at the brewpub. Hazy cloudy orange with a thin, sticky, lacy, white, super sticky head. Smells of nice freshly picked fruit - mango, peach and lemon zest with caramel and sweet malt, medium oily dry prickly body. Initial taste of hops and fruit and finishes caramel, dry with a lingering zest. Keep me coming back and top notch IPA.

UPDATED: FEB 5, 2010 Notes from 7/10/05. Pours a copper-brown color, medium-bodied, with a nice head and lacing left on the glass. Aroma is fruity with a nice hoppiness. Sweet, somewhat spicy flavors with a nice bitter hoppy bite. Finishes a bit bitter and dry. It’s by no means the strongest IPA I’ve had but it’s quite solid. Glad I stumbled upon this one. tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - APR 17, 2013
Draft at the brewpub. Pours a murky orange-copper with thick beige head and laces. Nose of citrus, pine and lots of caramel malt. Solid bitterness. Very welcome after a week of nothing but pils and lagers SeniorZozo (1590) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAY 1, 2016
Tap at 1516 Vienna.
Mild and deceptively alcoholic. Has a nice grass and pine aroma and moderate bitterness. nate2g (1548) - Boomtown!, AUSTRALIA - JAN 4, 2009
Draught at 1516 Brewing Co. Vienna. Notes from July 08. Pours a beautiful reddish copper with lasting off white head. Aroma is amazing, like flowers in a pine forest and complimented with fresh citrus. After what seems like forever I finally taste the brew. The hop flavour is fantastic, the caramel malt is balanced with floral, piney and resinous hops. Mouthfeel is smooth with a dry, bitter finish. A superb brew and worthy of the number one beer in Austria. floydian1 (1477) - FNQ, Australia, - JUN 25, 2016
On tap @ 1516 microbrewery in Vienna. A decent US-style IPA with plenty of grapefruit and pine resin on the nose and tongue to balance out a thick robust biscuity malt base. Medium-full bodied with oily texture and average carbonation. Hazy amber appearance with a thick and lasting off-white head. You won’t find many places serving IPAs in Vienna and this just might be the best of them.
