Amber Style Ale. Roasty finishing malts, balanced with just enough bitterness provides a traditional amber ale that is dark red to the eye, but not heavy on the palate. 16 Mile names this premium amber ale for the famous sunsets found at the Breakwater Lighthouse located off of Lewes Beach, Delaware.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a deep amber/reddish color. Aroma of malt. Taste is of sweet malt, not much hop presence. Medium body, clean finish. Average...not bad, would drink again but I won’t go out of my way for it.

Bottle from source. Looks like any other iced tea colored brew. Slow pour is no head. Rather mild pleasant sweet nose. First taste sweet with hints of malts & alky. Yes, certainly can tell this is 6% or more, its telling you. Did not totice any co2 at first but when I sit on it it does provide a smooth sizzle. Taste becomes medicinal in the middle. For sun, it needs to be a little brighter. Perhaps this is sunset? YES!

Aromas of hay and grass, barnyard. Slightly sweet, light bitter middle and smooth finish. I liked the malts in this one.

Beer of month club. Pours amber with 1 finger of fluffy foam that stays for a while. Not much of a nose - some malt. Taste is bready, sweet malt. A touch of hops. Decent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark amber pour from 12oz bottle at home, care of Christpuncher. White head. Biscuits and bready aroma. Slightly fruity, some malts, grains, and cereal flavors. Not bad, not great.

Christpuncher (3215) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 2, 2016
Fruity amber ale that is not overly malty. Not too bitter either. Pours reddish brown in color with a thin tan head. Aroma of fruit. Not awful for the style

Foxbush (2141) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - DEC 1, 2015
12 oz bottle from the AOPD beers each month The ale pours a deep reddish amber with a small off-white head. There was no lacing detected. The aroma had cherry and caramel malt. Taste was complex with some light sweetness and roasted malts. The ale had a light-medium body with average carbonation. Nice ale for anytime drinking. Not overpowering but very pleasant. The finish was clean with hints of some hops.

What a big frothy head you have, my dear... Bitter and flavorful, a good solid beer. Despite a not-so-exciting style, I really enjoyed this!

Aluminum tall bottle. Poured an amber color with an averaged sized head. Toasted caramel with citrus.
