American (Blonde) Session Ale
Light on the palate and crisp from start to finish, Responders Ale demonstrates the fundamental importance of premium ingredients. Choice English barley, a touch of wheat and mild bittering provide the foundation for this light-bodied beer whose story is not light on fortitude. We honor and give thanks to our emergency responders. $3 from every case and $5 from every keg will be donated to the National Fallen Fire Fighers Foundation.

Watery beer with decent flavor, wish it had more flavor to it. All in all a decent summertime beer.

Serving: Draft at the brewery. Pale gold pour. Light malt and grain notes in the nose. A little sweetness, grain, and pale malt with a very light bitterness on the back end. Light body and fairly crisp, but not much in the flavor department. Macro like lawnmower fare.

callmemickey (4542) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 27, 2014
Darker golden colored body, medium to thin white head, spotty lacing. Semi-sweet biscuit, grainy cereals, crackers, light citrus, some floral and honey. A slightly off toasted quality lingers. Medium to light bodied with smooth carbonation and moderate sweetness throughout before finishing softly.

TomDecapolis (4618) - Milton, Delaware, USA - MAY 22, 2014
Pours a mostly translucent golden with a medium foamy white head. Aroma of Cheerios and light lemon. Flavor of Cheerios, soft pretzels and a touch of lemon.

kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 8, 2014
Bottle. Pours a clear gold body under a small fizzy white head that slowly faded to a thin covering. The nose is bready and crackery malts with a light hint of floral hops. The flavor is a bit thin and bland with a weak cereal grain finish and minimal floral bitterness on the finish. Not too much to write home about with this one. Light bodied with soft fizzy carbonation and a short finish. Pretty forgettable stuff, even for a Golden Ale.

Tstamba (775) - Maryland, USA - JAN 19, 2014
From a bottle into a pint glass. Pale gold with some bubbles and thin white head. Not much on the nose or palate, a bit of maltiness, easy to drink... Meh.

radagast83 (8006) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - JAN 19, 2014
Poured a 5oz sampler at the source. Poured a bright yellow color, small off-white color. Like a fizzy yellow beer. Aroma was light grain, some lemon notes, with some light honey notes and some yeast. Flavor was mostly bland. Not horrible, just so so. I would say this crisp beer would be better suited for people who are just getting into craft beer.

hivemind (914) - New York, New York, USA - NOV 21, 2013
12oz bottle from ABC. Pours almost-clear gold. Head is initially robust and tight but it quickly crumbles into loose, uneven bubbles before disappearing altogether. Aroma is grainy and earthy with some sugar. Palate is light wheat, slight bitter, kind of sweet. Not a lot better than a basic pale lager. Thin-bodied, almost no carb.

MadRobin (2988) - Silver Spring, Alabama, USA - SEP 30, 2013
Poured from 12 oz. bottle at Rustico Restaurant and Wine Bar. Clear, sparkling bright yellow with a small off-white head and good lacing. Aroma of lemon, sweet fruit, grain, fresh baked white bread, wheat and mild grassiness. Taste of lemon, grain, sweet fruit, yeasty white bread, alum, grass, wheat and honey. Light/medium body and medium/high carbonation. Plenty of flavor for a blonde , but the combination of grain, sweet and acerbic just didn't work for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy gold foamy white head; aroma is light slightly wheaty; Flava is wheaty with some acidic tartness; finishes dry

mansquito (6328) - Nueva York, New York, USA - AUG 11, 2013
New Beer Distributors, NY 12oz ($2.25): Pours golden with a tiny white head. Aroma is grainy cheap beer. Body is really watery. Barely any taste. A modicum of hops. This is pretty meh.
