Draft at fobab 2016. Dark brown with a minimal brown head. Aroma is chicolate, bourbon and vanilla. Strong vanilla flavor almost overpowers everything else. Body is a tad thin for this big of a ba stout. Strykzone (7799) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - NOV 5, 2016
Sampled at Gregwilsonstl’s tasting. Black with a big dark tan head. Had this right after the original. Vanilla is rich and brings that flavor. All of that regular flavor but the vanilla makes it smother in the mouth and in flavor. Very nice. fraternie (1030) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 29, 2015
Amazing complexity, with shockingly sour black fruit notes up front above undertones of dark chocolate and roasted black coffee. Super creamy, milky mouthfeel. Finishes on a note of ash and charcoal, with a super subtle vanilla bean note lingering. jredmond (8839) - New York, New York, USA - NOV 11, 2015
Sampled at The Festival 2015 in St. Petes with Vinny. Pours a deep blackish brown body with short head. Mouthfeel is soft and medium bodied with notes of cocoa, oak, chocolate and round malt. Subtle notes of vanilla and bourbon towards the finish. PhillyCraft (8198) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 21, 2015
On tap at Festival, pours black with small to medium beige head. Notes are mostly malt with a little bit of cocoa and wood but honestly it needed more of a rich character with sweeter chocolate and barrel. Vanilla bean, hazelnut, dark malt, and grain. Medium in body.

bottle thanks to Shad, tons of vanilla. Thick and sweet, not very drinkable, tons of sweet candy vanilla flavors. sic1314 (4773) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - MAY 3, 2015
At CBC. Poured deep dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate, berries and toasted malt. Medium body, flavour as the aroma, moderately sweet. maxodom (47) - - APR 24, 2015
I hardly ever give reviews under 3, but i had no other choice. I traded a really good stout thinking this was going to hold up, but there was nothing there. Tasted like a mass produced watered down stout with no real flavor. Hoping for better with their next releases. Patrickctenchi (6809) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - APR 29, 2014
