Bottle thanks to AJ. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong cinnamon, rye, cocoa, vanilla, roast, bourbon, wood. Slick body, similar flavors to nose, boozy finish, very good. kermis (15285) - The Hague / Amsterdam / Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - JUN 3, 2015
Bottle shared. Pours near black with a small short lived beige head. Aroma of cinnamon, chocolate, oak barrel/bourbon/vanilla, coconut, malt, toffee and a light roast. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a big cinnamon, coconut, boozy barrel and vanilla palate. Light medium oily mouthfeel. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Really enjoyed this one, thought it would be good, but it’s better than expected. crossovert (14359) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 15, 2015
Draft. No shortage of bitch named beers, this beer is freaking amazing though, heavy on the cinnamon spice, tempered by the sweet vanilla form the barrel and additions. One of the best beers yet out of here. deanso (10404) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - JUN 3, 2015
bottle courtesy of and shared with Kermis.
Thin ring tan head. Clear black pour. Coconut aftertaste with a hint of cinnamon. Very good brew.

12oz bottle pours an inky black with some creamy, beige head. Nose is real cool, the cinnamon is right at the front but not abrasive, earthy, peppery, aromatic, the rest of the nose has molasses and licorice, plenty of malt, vanilla, soft wood notes. Flavor is extremely well blended, heavy molasses, some coffee bean, some chocolate, a little cola, vanilla, cinnamon, black pepper. Extremely well balanced and easy to drink. Bottle shared by a friend. Pours darkest brown with a thin tan head. Aroma of malt, chocolate and bourbon. Malty and chocolatey flavor with some bourbon warmth before a roasty and chocolatey finish. Beerman6686 (6611) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 15, 2016
Poured a dark brown with a beige head. Aroma was of barrel, light cinnamon and chocolate. Flavor similar, subdued, lacking in body. Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - NOV 21, 2015
On tap: The aroma consists of moderate coffee, cinnamon, vanilla, maple syrup, and faint pepper. It’s a dark brown with no transparency and a small tan head. The flavor starts with a moderate dark chocolate and a touch of molasses. The finish has maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla, and coffee. It’s full bodied with mild carbonation and a sticky mouthfeel. rxeight (3344) - Illinois, USA - APR 29, 2016
2016 Barrel Massacre as bourbon bitches bank. (also had it at ’15 BM and FOBAB) cinnamon and chocolate slight touch of spice on back. barrel seems to give it a more creamy mouthfeel and seems to calm down the flavors to make them a bit smoother, but doesn’t do much anywhere else. Almost identical to the base, Which isn’t a bad thing.
