Can from Saveur web shop. Thick and oily. Taste and smell of chocolate and caramel. A bit too much burnt sugar in it. Mister_Li (1409) - GERMANY - APR 8, 2017

35cl Can from Plovmand, thanks Thomas! Doesn’t mention any ABV. Pitch black colour, beige-brown head. Aroma is sweet, chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, some molasses, mocha. Flavour is quite sweet, pralines, coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, light fruity, firm bitter finish, hint of berries. Medium to full bodied. Starts out nice, becomes a bit cloying after a while. Certainly good though. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 8, 2017
Flat black body with a small tight bubbled dark brown head. The nose is sweet and roasty with some nice oat character. The flavor is roasty and slightly burnt with a lingering black patent finish. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Pretty decent snoot8726 (100) - Terre Haute, Indiana, USA - DEC 27, 2016
Tap. Black pour with a tan head. Big dark malts and coffee on the nose. Big roasty malts and coffee taste with brown sugar and oats. Phenomenal brew. JPDIPSO (6236) - Wauwatosa, USA - DEC 5, 2016
Dark brown color with a quickly diminished brown head. Roasted malts dominate the aromas. There was a heavy hops scent, but that subsided rather quickly. Just a hint of pine left. Smooth, lightly oily feel. Light sweetness in the front. A return of mild pine in the middle. A little cherry licorice. Finish has a hint of tar. Nice fireside brew.
