Huge light brown fizzy-creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, dark malts, hay, minerals, toast, alcohol, toasted coconut, sour coffee, dark sugar, bark, nuts, roasted grain. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, weeds, sour-ish roasted grain, grass, bloodlike minerals, bark, toast coconut, sour coffee, hay, alcohol, nuts, dark malts. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh sour-ish roasted mouthfeel. Fair enough.
Bottle from a good friend. Pours a midnight colour with a dark khaki head, legs recede to nothing fast. Nose is sweet and quite boozy, not getting coconut though. Tastes sweet, a little bit boozy hot. A touch bitter, soft mouthfeel , with a touch of vanilla maybe. Tasty as all the other versions I've had. b3shine (9359) - Indiana, USA - SEP 23, 2017
Bomber to clear plastic cup (shared with the Mrs.). Looks good; a slightly translucent dark cola with darker beige head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells and tastes malty with notes of dark malt, chocolate, and coconut. Some roast on the tongue as well. Mouthfeel is medium-full to full-bodied and pleasantly bitter. Enjoyable. douglas88 (9855) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 4, 2017
Bottle thanks to Todd. Pours a jet black color with a medium beige head. A big coconut and tomato nose. The flavor is sour tangy metal, coconut, tomatoes. Not good. Infected. Yorker (2147) - Holstebro, DENMARK - APR 21, 2017
66 cl bottle @ home. Pours black with a tan head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma and flavour are coconut, chocolate, liquorice, and roasted malt - with a slightly bitter finish.

Small, shortlived dark brown-tan head over near-black beer. Coconut, chocolatedrinkpowder, vanilla, sweetish smelling. Alcohol, spirit, coconut, coconut liqueur, faint dry hardwood, vanilla. Very well bodied, luscious; alcoholwarming, medium carbonation at best. Rich, nice beer, as it is refined and yet really powerful. Thanks for sharing, guys! jandd1983 (4728) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - NOV 6, 2016
Bottle, thanks Greg. It poured a black color with a tan head. The aroma was of roast, caramel, coconut and caramel The taste was similar to the aroma with more roastiness, caramel, chocolate and coconuts. Really good. Strykzone (7855) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - NOV 5, 2016
Sampled at Gregwilsonstl’s tasting. Had this right after the original and then the vanilla. This was not on the level of those. An off flavor. I did like it and the coconut was noticed but light. vyvvy (6959) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - NOV 5, 2016
The beer pours dark brown with a tan head. The aroma has an odd funk, can’t put my finger on it. It has a medium body with moderate carbonation. The taste has roast, light sourness, berries and a mere hint of coconut. Okay. Thanks to gregwilsonstl for sharing this. gregwilsonstl (2737) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - NOV 5, 2016
Dark black. More watered down then the regular. Some coconut. Tasted at my "Variants 2.0" bottle share. Side by side with Regular, Vanilla, Orange.
