Small rusty tan head, fast gone over nearly black beer, rather viscously pouring. Chocolate, and strangely enough, rather mint than orange aroma. Also nutty, pecan, arachide. BIt of coffee, bit of vanilla... and no citrus? Chocolate and here (taste) some orangeliqueur indeed, but still pretty mild, demure. Chocolate and mocha in force. Roasted, but hardly any bitterness. Rich, oily, viscous; very low on carbonation. Like it! Thanks to the low orange imprint, as I usually hate the classical orange-chocolate combination. Thanks for sharing, guys! jandd1983 (4720) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - NOV 6, 2016
Bottle, thanks Greg. It poured a black color with a tan head. The aroma was of oranges, burnt toast and citrus. The taste was similar to the aroma with more roast, citrus, especially oranges and some funkiness. Really tasty. vyvvy (6953) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - NOV 5, 2016
The beer pours dark brown with a beige head. The aroma has roast, sweetness and some funk. It has a medium full body with fairly light carbonation. The taste chocolate, vanilla, orange candy and some spice. Good. Strykzone (7854) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - NOV 5, 2016
Sampled at Gregwilsonstl’s tasting. Thanks Greg for all 4 of these. Had this after the original, the vanilla, and the coconut versions. Looks like them. This is earthy. Orange is noted but is something different. Like a chocolate orange candy. Some mint with it. Interesting and nice. Not really better than the original. gregwilsonstl (2735) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - NOV 5, 2016
Tasted at my "Variants 2.0" bottle share. Tastes like orange slice candy. Side by side with Vanilla, Regular, and Coconut.

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is orange peel, roast, chocolate. Thick, chewy, roast, dark chocolate, boozy, very good. MrChopin (4305) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JUN 11, 2016

black with huge tan CCB head. Heavy green olive nose, blows off to show developed roast, light plum sugar. Heavy roast front palate, light plum sweetness, mid palate soft roast with some caramel roast dominance.
22oz bottle pours an oily black with some frothy, tan head. Nose has toast, orange peel, a little rope, green olive. Flavor is sweet, toast, cherry, raisin. Finishes a bit salty. radagast83 (8690) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - MAR 29, 2016
From a bottle at the DC tasting on March 25, 2016. Poured a dark brown color with a small light tan head. Aroma was pretty malty, with some roased grain, lots of dark chocolate notes. Light bittersweet chocolate character, caramel notes. GenDV138 (7964) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - MAR 26, 2016
Bottle someone shared at the DC Tasting on 3/25/2016. Dark brownish black with light tan head. Aromas of roast, light chocolate. Tastes of roast, dark chocolate, caramel. Medium-light body with a dry finish.
