Can from Winetree East shared with the CB crew. Pours a thick, deep brown to black with a finger of tan head that lingers. Big roasted malt nose, coffee and cacao nib. Smooth on the palate. Quite creamy with roasty, light milk latte notes on the palate. Full-bodied, rich and super smooth. Great stuff! phaleslu (10895) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 5, 2017
Draft at HopCat - Broad Ripple. Pours a deep opaque brown with a small tan head that settles into a thin ring. They nailed the appearance. Roasted malts, burnt toast, cocoa, cream, molasses, tobacco, and earth. Medium-full bodied, with moderate carbonation and a smooth, roasty, sweet, coating mouthfeel. Nice, rich, and balanced. Well made imperial stout. AirForceHops (8026) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - SEP 28, 2017
4 oz. draft at Copenhagen Beer Celebration, Boston, 23 September, 17. Wonderful aroma os vanilla bean, bold coffee with light milk. The lactose sugar definitely is not hidden. Extremely creamy with a sweet milk and coffee flavor. They got the mouth feel right on this one. Good coffee tones, vanilla and Coco. Nice!

This beer pours like oil. Seems thick, no head. Aroma is potent with alcohol, stringent. The flavor is toasted but mild. Burnt marshmallow. Not too sweet, leaves a charred flavor which seems to linger. It’s interesting. Cybercat (6334) - Georgia, USA - JUN 17, 2017
Pours opaque coffee brown with a minimal tan head. Aroma offers coffee, chocolate, roast malt and subtle molasses tones. Flavor reflects all this while adding some cocoa character. Mouthfeel features good fizz and body. Hunt it down. bluejacket74 (1995) - Reynoldsburg, Ohio, USA - JUN 2, 2017
22 ounce bottle, no dating on it that I could find. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with a half inch tan head that stuck around a while. There’s a decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like milk and bittersweet chocolate, roasted malt, lactose, vanilla and a bit of coffee. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there’s also some burnt/charred malt and dark bready flavors noticeable. I think the taste is sweeter than you’d think it would be compared to the aroma. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it’s slick and smooth with a moderate amount of carbonation. I think it’s a good double milk stout, I was looking forward to trying this and I wasn’t disappointed at all. Definitely worth picking up! $15.99 a bomber. jc1762 (1651) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 26, 2017
Can into a snifter showing oily, viscous, thick pitch black with no head.
The nose shows a light lactose sweetness with notes of roasted malts and dark chocolate.
The palate is surprisingly light bodied and lightly carbonated. Light lactose sweetness with flavors of dark chocolate, lightly roasted coffee, and a lovely dark chocolate bitterness.
