2 tulip glasses worth at the 18th Street taproom. I really enjoyed this one. Orange-yelow appearance with a decent amount of white foam on top that lingers for a while and puts off a nice aroma from the amarillo hops. Aroma is oranges, grassy, floral, sweet and a little peppery. Taste is juicy and sweet tropical fruit with some pine aspects in the background. Very drinkable, and a nice ipa overall. Mouthfeel was medium bodied and smooth with mild carbonation. BBB63 (6557) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - JAN 15, 2014
Tap @ brewery, served in snifter: Clean golden hue with a frothy head and very good lace. The aroma has juicy pineapple and pear esters along with slight onion dankness, biscuity grains and hint of pepper. The taste is light citrus and herbal notes with some resiny tones supported by soft grains and faint hop spice finish. The mouth feel is lively, clean and very refreshing. Nice straight forward IPA. Had two of them!
