Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can poured into a English pint glass. Hazy bronze with small off-white head. Aroma is caramel malt, medium body. Lower carbonation, and a little small-bubble lacing. Taste is caramel malt and herbal hops.

Steel hands dark mild - but is the mild retired? Just got from Craftshack not long ago. Anyway - light malty base, brown pour, earth and pine, caramel and very light roast. Pleasant if simple.

12 oz. can from 7-11 Kittery Maine. Color is a deep ruby with thin white head. Aroma is bready malt on top of toffee and light earthy hops.

Pretty much a standard ESB with maybe a touch more hops. Mild earthy/ herbal hints. Bitterness almost balances the sweetness. Body is medium with a chewy bready texture.

Can. Deep amber body with a frothy, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, toasted grain and floral hops. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Light lingering bitterness. Malty taste, slightly ashy. Notes of caramel and dough.

A decent mild ale. No strong flavors comes through. Overall it’s a sweet beer and light on the bitterness and alcohol. Probably one of those safety beers.
