Can into a snifter showing well filtered dark amber brown with thin white foam lacing. The nose shows light notes of grapefruit on a strong bready backbone. The palate is medium bodied and moderately carbonated. Moderate grapefruit pithy forwardness with a mild malt sweetness showing throughout. Barely any bitterness with light alcoholic spice and alpha acidic edge. More hints of sweet grapefruit show at the finish. Interesting and quite well done

Draft to snifter at The Pint Room. Looks solid; malty though. A very cloudy caramelish orange with off-white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of fruity hops and caramel with a big bittersweet backbone. Tastes like it smells with a medium full-bodied mouthfeel. A solid midwestern malt bomb DIPA.

Can. Pours hazy orange with white head. Onion bomb aroma. Tastes slightly better but it’s got all the bad that these hops can throw, oniony with a generic tropical fruit. It doesn’t come off clearly mosaic. Malt base was on the caramel/ sweet side, but otherwise not much stands out as particularly interesting. Leans slightly more bitter than malty but it is a iipa. Medium body. Meh.

Tasted from a 12oz. can. It poured a cloudy copper hue with a frothy off white to light orange head. Peachy citrus hop nose with a delicious taste to match. Nice malt backbone to support all of that juicy dank hopness. This double IPA continues my enjoyment of 18th Street’s hoppy brews.

Can shared by my buddy Hamilton. What a nice surprise to get to taste a beer from Indiana. A beautiful clear copper with a thickly resinous dank hoppy aroma. Med-full bodied, sweet caramel and bitter prickly pear plus dank pine. Really nice stuff.
