On tap. This is the house beer at the River City Casino in St Louis. Served a clear reddish amber color with a nice head that faded. Aroma of citrus, grain and bit of sweet malt. Taste of malt sweetness and grain. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Moderate body, smooth and an easy drinker. Not too bad. coachd (836) - Missouri, USA - JUN 11, 2014
Enjoying this one for free at grants farm. Pours a rich red color with bright white foam. Weak aroma, typical of an A-B product. Better mouthfeel than I was expecting, refreshing slightly tart taste. I was surprised by this one. Apparently it's hard to find, only a few taps in St. Louis hold this one. gnoff (10336) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - FEB 6, 2014
At "The Ritz Ybor" (Tampa, FL) relabeled as "Czar Red Ale", but as of info from the good people at the venue it is the "American Red" in new clothing.squigs46 (55) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - FEB 7, 2011
Sampled draught on January 25, 2014.
Hazy copper color, tan head. Sweet, malty taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Sweet aftertaste. Sweet scent.
Not very complex, but nice and easy drinking, very nice for the gig and the club scene I’d say.
had it over the weekend in st louis at the beerhouse. great place to have a beer but it lacked mouthfeel which led to a not so balanced product. Strykzone (7357) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - NOV 7, 2010
The house beer of the 1904 Beerhouse at the River City Casino south of St. Louis and is only available there. It is reddish copper colored and crystal clear. A one finger soapy head lasts a couple of minutes. Tangerine, malt, grain, and rye in both flavor and aroma. Quite nice, actually.
