Draught @ Beer Deluxe, Melbourne
Deep ruby body with little clarity, small off-white head.
Aromas of treacle, plums, raisins, prunes, black & blueberry, rancio-nuttiness -port undertones
Surprisingly dry on the palate, seems well attenuated, not particularly thick for strength,
Rich burnt caramels on the body, dark fruits - palate starts sweet finishing dry with porty undertones.
Flavours are good, body lacks oompf. Lunkie (1936) - Glen Iris, AUSTRALIA - AUG 7, 2016
