The Bad Apple is a semi-dry, bold cider. Aged with brandy-cured Oregon white oak, the Bad Apple offers complex oak tannins and rich vanilla notes. Hints of sweetness derived from local meadowfoam honey make this a cider to savor.

Ferris (15013) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 25, 2016
Bottle - Boozy apple and yeasty. Clear gold with micro bubbles. Sweet and very tart, effervescent and a bit of a harsh finish. Not great.

fiulijn (20411) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 11, 2016
Draught at Schilling Cider House, Seattle
Pale yellow color. The cider qualities are not impressive, the aroma is too boozy, some fuel, the mouthfeel is semi-dry, moderate acidity. Chaotic.

blipp (9170) - La Mesa, California, USA - MAY 1, 2016
Bottle. Pours gold with fizzy bubbles. Apple and honey sweetness, some light oaky notes, mild caramel apple, and a nice mild candy sweet finish. Enjoyable high boost juice.

bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - APR 28, 2016
(22oz bottle) Pours a clear pale yellow body with a spare fizzy white head. Aroma of apple, butter, and cinnamon. Flavor of apple, sweet honey, and vanilla with a moderately dry oak finish.

mcberko (17178) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 7, 2016
On tap at Schilling, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out medium-dry sweetness, some apple skins and some lightly tart juiciness. Flavour is intense, with lightly tart green apples, low-medium sweetness and alcohol. Quite intense flavours - could use some refining, but itís quite nice for what it is.

This is probably the best Cider out there. I donít particularly love the taste of Ciderís, so when you make one 10.5% alcohol, I can enjoy it in that way.

I was surprised to see the amount of criticism regarding this cider. Itís a heavy alcohol by volume at 10.5% for 500ml from Oregon , gluten free and 4% honey wine. It pours heavily with the honey visible floating in this golden liquid. Iíve had the opportunity to enjoy the best of the best when it comes to ciders and while this is certainly no DuPont, other ciders Iíve had recently can not hold a candle to this one, including Angry Orchard. I was impressed, and will pick up some more next time Iím able to.

Just not a very good cider. Opposite of complex with a quite medicinal taste. I know itís 10% but it doesnít have to be harsh - thatís the opposite of what cider is supposed to be, in fact.
