On tap at Toronado, San Diego. Pours almost clear yellow, small white head. Mostly apples, on the sweet side, some tartness. Dry.

Bill’s Tavern, Cannon Beach. A few white bubbles, milky yellow, clear body. Semi sweet sip. Clean, simple apple. Modern American macro cider. Sweet green apple nose. Simple and pleasant.

Canned from Cost Plus. Tart cardboard flavors up front. Not a very good cider. Some sort of weird chemical flavor. Not a very refreshing cider.

Light pour, no carbonation. Looks like white wine. Aroma also vinous, bit chalky, really, feels like white wine for me. Dry and a bit sweetish. But more about dry.

Very clear pale golden color. Musty sour nose with modest tannins. Modestly dry. Finishes quickly. Not bad.

Can. Aroma of fermented apple. Balanced flavor, partly sweet and partly dry. Pretty standard.

ineedbeer (2267) - Oakland, California, USA - JUN 26, 2016
Poured from a 500 ml bottle.
Aroma is sweet, green apples with a medium light tannin note. Light red apple notes, but this is mostly green.
Pours a very clear, very pale yellow color with a faint, thin, white head that immediately disappears. No lacing or legs.
Flavor is moderately sweet, but with a fairly dry finish. Medium light green apple notes with some light red apple and tannins. Hints of alcohol in the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium light to light bodied with moderate carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a pretty bland and somewhat boring cider, but it should work fine for a pork chop brine. Flavor is fairly muted with balanced sweetness and apple notes. A bit too candy-like for my preferences.

Frank (4240) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 29, 2016
This is a bit dryer than most but is still vaguely in the soda pop range of cidres. This is perfectly clear and tastes like less sweet apple juice w/ a pretty nice floral note and some Smarties candy. It’s a bit watery on the palate but I prefer that to too sweet and sticky so based on that I am willing to say that this is not revolting.

BeerandBlues2 (13871) - Escondido, California, USA - JAN 23, 2016
Draught at GABBF. Pours clear and still yellow. Aroma is green apple and light honey. Flavor is tart green apple, light honey and a dry finish. Light body and carbonation.

Lubiere (14192) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 4, 2016
A pale blonde cider with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity apple with light acidity, light mineral notes, OK. In mouth, a sweet fruity apple juice with light mineral notes, plain, OK. On tap at Real a Gastropub.
