Pours a medium golden color with a finger of eggshell foam. Nose is nice cracker malt, floral grass and hints of citrus. Palate follows the nose nicely with nice balance and solid bitterness. Hints of citrus, bitter dandelion and floral grass. TEJA (3067) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 4, 2014

Small beige head. Clear yellow color. Fresh hop aroma. Super fresh hop taste with a small bitterness and a tuch of caramell taste to make a very drinkable beer, perfect thirst quencher. Medium body. SG111 (1824) - New York, USA - OCT 17, 2014
Canned. Pours a copper orange color with a slightly orange-beige head, and lacing. Really nice color. Aroma is orange, tropical fruit, lots of bold hop flavors. Slight maltiness Really big aroma considering this is a session. Flavor has more of the caramel malt sweetness up front, hop bitterness in the middle and a nice long bitter hop finish. Really nice. This is my favorite session IPA. MNAle (189) - Minnesota, USA - OCT 16, 2014
UPDATED: JUL 29, 2015 Pours pale, cloudy orange color. White head that fades relatively quickly. Moderate, disconnected lacing. Citrus in the aroma, otherwise faint. Some visible carbonation but not excessive. Thin, but sweet malt initial taste with bitter hops next, and lingering in the aftertaste. The aftertaste is a bit unpleasant and faintly fruity. Not much mouth feel - thin. Not well balanced; the overall impression is thin, watery and hopped. Not very impressive. Even though the brewer calls this a pale ale, with "bitter" in the name, I was expecting better balance, more malt, not watery citrus. Disappointing. Aroma: flowers, some tropical fruits. Appearance: slightly hazy brown, small, creamy, beige head. Taste: light to medium bitter. Palate: bitters continue, some malty sweets coming up. Overall: OK IPA, but nothing special. Pint at Big Brew, Morristown.

Can. Golden-orange color; thick off-white head. Substantial lacing. Strong hop aroma; grapefruit with piney notes. Malt up front with caramel and a touch of honey. Nice balance with bitterness. Grapefruit and pine notes with long, resiny finish.

Pours orange, somewhat hazy, with a bubbly white head. Earthy aroma with some floral and citrus notes. Clean malt, floral, and citrus flavors. The finish has a nice resinous hop bitterness. Refreshing, easy drinker with a light to medium body and moderate carbonation. Very good pale ale. glennmastrange (2871) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - SEP 28, 2014
Can. Moderate caramel and grain for the malt, orange and perfume for the hops, light soap for the yeast, with a hint of sulfur and egg. Head is small, frothy/creamy, white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is hazy medium amber. Flavor starts lightly to moderately sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is medium, slick with a lively carbonation and a dry finish. Too far out of balance and a few offensive notes sank this Session IPA. I think it got stanky in the can. TATE (407) - Lubec, Maine, USA - SEP 27, 2014
Can. Grapefruit aroma and hop flavor. Pours a golden color though a bit cloudy with a big head. Pretty big hop flavor with a low ibu and abv. There are a lot of these session IPAs out there now and this is a very good one. slowrunner77 (12051) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 26, 2014
"4.4% on the can...is this a pale ale or a bitter? maybe inbetween. either way, i thought it was good. nice balanced but slightly hop forward aroma, fruity and earthy, nice finish. good food beer. i had been a little turned off by 21A but this was very good for the style."
