Drank from a tulip, poured from a can, this IPA had a light to medium orange pour and gave a one finger white and faint off-white cover that was somewhat lasting, there was a faint haze in the glass, the nose had orange and grapefruit citrus hop aromas, light toasted malt and faint bread, orange fruit and some melon like notes as well as some orange jelly sweetness, the flavors were fruit and grass hops with some pine and resin, light toasted malt, there was less sweetness than on the nose, there was a good hop bitterness that dried the tongue a bit with a little malt following, the mouth feel was less than medium, it felt light for a 7% alc. beer, it was creamy, and had average to lively carbonation, the hops were light tropical fruit with a touch of grass, light malt and fruit sweetness, the flavor had a good hop bitterness, a nice drink.

Pours gold with a medium white head. Aroma is deep dark dankness with some malt. Taste is rich tamarind sweetness with deep deep hoppiness and a dry aspirin-bitter finish. A truly interesting palate.

A nice IPA with good notes of fruit. From can and a little metallic. Good balance and not crazily hoppy.

Pours a cloudy/hazy yellow golden color with white head. Citrus, pine, and some floral notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes much like it started. Decent but average IPA.

This West Coast IPA has an awesome hop punch, but it is well balanced with a malt backbone. Many beers from the west tend to be VERY hoppy. Stone gets the hops right, where as, I find Sierra Nevada acidic and harsh at times (depending on the brew). 21st is extremely smooth, and it goes down like its 6.0% (or lower) ABV. The reality is that its 7%, so you may want to conserve on a work night. I picked a six pack up for a mere $8.99...what a bargain for my area. Cheers!
