BREW FREE! OR DIE IPA is brewed with some serious west coast attitude. This aromatic golden IPA starts with three different hops to the nose, quickly balanced by a solid malt backbone supporting the firm bitterness. Our top selling beer at the pub, this IPA starts big and finishes clean leaving you wanting more.

The high IBU sacrifices the complex flavor that a good IPA should have. The aroma is fine, it is great to smell, but I cant really seem to find the evidence of "assertive malt backbone" in this beer. Also I think it also seems too highly carbonated, which does not help with increasing flavor. It is a bit overly smooth. Seems like the only thing that prevents me from chugging this is the bitterness. However, the hop characters in this beer allows for some sweet taste after drinking this beer. Overall, I would say 21stA brew free or die IPA feels more like an overly hopped bud lite rather than an IPA.

Grass and citrus aroma, massive life and fizz. Grassy hops and bitter, refreshing bite at the back of the throat. Fantastic.

355ml can. Slightly milky, orangey golden colour with average to huge, fluffy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Piney and citrusy, hoppy aroma, notes of lemon, tangerine, pineapple, sweet-ish pale and crystal malty backbone. Taste is citrusy and slightly piney hoppy, initially lemon juice dominated, orange zest supplemented, later via additional grassy notes more and more dry and piney; slightly sweet malty backbone throughout. Hardly attaining the finish any signs of hop flavour-superstructure suddenly break away, just a layer of chalky bitterness covers the malty basis anymore.
