Draft at 21A in SF. Nose is slightly minerally with a sweet bready aroma. Pour is just a bit hazy, light gold. Taste is minerally with a firm bitterness. Seems a bit too minerally, but what do I know. cubs (10675) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUL 7, 2014
On tap @ the brewery during San Francisco 7/7/14 beer tour. Pours a golden appearance with a white head. A bit client, sweet toasted malty, straw, grassy aroma. Slightly thin but the flavor is actually pretty dry and tasty. Herbal, hay flavor. Just fine. pdx76 (651) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 8, 2013

On draught at 21st Amendment Brewery. Opaque yellow color. Hay, hop, and little bit of nutty aroma. Taste of hop, sweet corn, and some light malt. Little heavy for a kölsch, but good. larsga (7605) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 21, 2011
Medium offwhite head. Clear yellow body. Faint fruity aroma. Dry-sweet strawy strawberry taste with papery notes. Light body. Mealy peppery mouthfeel. Dry strawy salty aftertaste with grassy papery notes. Not bad, but bland. (0.2l draft at brewpub.)

Draft. A light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has light notes of malt and citrus. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw as well as lighter notes of citrus, leading to a dry and bitter finish where the straw note lingers. beersearcher (2382) - Glendale, California, USA - NOV 5, 2009

Pours effervescent pale golden with a thin white head. Clean, dry hops and bready malt in the nose and flavor. Quite easy drinking and enjoyable. SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - AUG 9, 2009
Draught at the brewpub, served in a seven ounce kölsch glass. Pretty cool that they put it in the smaller glass and charge half price, as it keeps a cold beer in front of you more of the time. Not that they invented that concept, but not very many brewpubs put that much thought into their glassware selection. Light gold with a white head. The aroma is sweet and grainy with light floral touches and some bread. Light on the palate with some bready malt, delicate floral hops and a crisp, clean finish. Pretty spot-on for what i always think of the style as. Interesting enough to drink a few, and light enough to not tire you in the process.
