Deep clear golden, rich malt flavor huge citrus, fruity grassy, ethanol sweetness aroma with a profound bitterness, yet balanced malt back bone with grapefruit, mellow citric overtones. Dry hopped three times in the fermenter. Brewed with over 65 lbs of hops for 300 gallons of beer. The beer to bring world peace and end the war. From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Solid pinewood and grapefruity hops aroma. Sweet caramel malt flavoured, good smooth mouthfeel. Bitter and fruity finish, very smooth and nicely balanced but certainly with some hops power.

Draft. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops and grapefruits. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of hops lending it notes of grapefruit, combined with notes of over ripe fruits and alcohol, the latter leaves a burn in the mouth, before the very bitter finish sets in.

(On tap) Clear, amber golden with a creamy, off-white head leaving laces. Clean, piney hop aroma. Full, solid body with some caramel malt, but - again - otherwise completely dominated by lovely aroma hops. A massive and slightly perfumy bitterness rounds this off. 190307

Tap at Bistro DIPA festival. Brilliant gold amber color with a huge foamy white head. Massive resin aroma. Flavor is really hoppy floral/resin/citrus with a lot of smooth malt backing. Much more floral than bitter. Superb.

On tap @ Bistro 8th Annual DIPA Fest poured a clear golden amber with a lasting white head. Aromas of carmel, light citrus and light pine. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of light carmel and light citrus with a crisp lightly bitter finish.
Tasted more like a session pale ale to me.

GABF 2009. Pours clear dark yellow with a small, fizzy white head, mostly diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, cereal, grain, meal), heavy hop (flowers, grass, pine, resin, citrus), average yeast (sweat, earth) with notes of pear, peach, pineapple, apricot, and honey. Full bodied, creamy texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Long duration, moderate sweetness and acidity, heavy bitterness.

On tap at the brewery. This amber ale poured with a rich beige head that faded away. There is a floral aroma. The flavor starts with sweet malt and finishes with sharp hop bitterness. This is a very nice DIPA.
