COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like FDRs Depression-Era Radio Addresses, which were like a kick in the butt and a hug at the same time, our Fireside Chat is a subtle twist on the traditional seasonal brew. We begin with a rich, dark, English-style ale and then we improvise with spices until we know we have a beer worth sharing with the nation. Celebrating the right to be original.

A winter warmer. Brown that is malty and spices are mostly nutmeg and cinnamon. Pleasant and drinkable. Medium mouthfeel, above average carbonation. brown with a minimal head.Malty aroma, surprisingly little spices in nose.

From the can purchased at The BeerHive in Pittsburgh. Im having trouble understanding the low opinions on what I thought was a relatively fantastic beer. There are a million mystery tastes to explore here, and a smoothness on the swallow that has few rivals. Knowing that FDR enjoyed his alcoholic beverages to a large degree is a good pairing to this not to be missed ale. Eagerly looking forward to 21st Amendments other offerings.

12oz can. Dark brown with a slight ruby hue, creamy mocha head. Sweet malt with some vegetables and slight sourness present, nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla - not necessarily a pleasant combination. Carbonation seems slightly high, still smooth, slightly sweet, spice is overdone, become dry and slightly cloying in terms of sweetness. Not a huge fan.

Beautiful appearance. Dark dark color. Aroma is not good. Aroma is not bad either. Tastes of alcohol on the palate, along with vanilla. Overall above average. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap. Pours with a hazed deep brown hued body with a small tan head. Aromas are malty, caramel, brown sugar and light spice. Flavors are grainy, wheat, soggy malt, brown sugar, light spice, some clove and cinnamon. Lively bubbles, medium bitter.

Dark brown with ruby tint and tan head. Malty aroma with cloves and cinnamon. Sweet malty taste some raisins. Kind of tart for my liking and then cinnamon and cloves in finish.

Disappointed with this one, looks and smells great, tastes totally boring and average. Drinkable, but not something Id recommend.
