3.8
joet (2662) - Wilsonville, Oregon, USA - MAR 13, 2002
Deep dark roasty all over, bit of charcoal, light bodied, nitrogenated, appreciable but not substantial hops. These are lighter, not necessarily more balanced brews and a daring move in a region full of gargantuan beers.

aspidites (1271) - manteca, California, USA - MAR 16, 2005
A well balanced session porter. Nice mild rasted malts with some mocha and nuts flavors. Exceptionally soft and round mouthfeel. Mild Burnt toast and liquorice notes. Clean finish.

Ratman197 (15360) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JUN 12, 2007
On tap @ 21st Amendment poured a translucent brownish black with a small lasting tan head. Aromas of roasted malt, coffee, bitter chocolate and a hint of vanilla . Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of roasted malt, coffee and cocoa with a lingering dry bitter finish.

duff (5486) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 28, 2004
[email protected] Amendment, Brewery,Restaurant and Bar. Just a nice roasted bitterness, toasty, with great balance, couldn’t ask for too much more in terms of drinkablity and flavour when it comes to a porter. Decent stuff.

3.6
pivo (2688) - GERMANY - MAY 26, 2007
Deep roasted malt nose, dark opaque brown color, clingy biege head. Woody malt base with a roasted malt bitter. Fairly simple, but good. Like the balance on this one.

On tap at 21st Amendment, June 2007. Dark brown (almost black) with ruby edges and a thick, beige head that lasts forever. Great, roasty chocolately/coffee nose. Has somewhat of a sharp, roasty bitterness then notes of toffee, chocolate and coffee. Medium bodied with smooth, soft carbonation.
