Draft pour pint at 21st Amendment. Bringing this beer out of hiatus. Beer hasn’t been rated since the Giants last won the pennant! Maybe I will be a good luck charm. Listed at 5.4% Copper golden pour with a quick fading head. Look at that. Span just hit a bomb. Malt forward aroma. Flavor its the front runner as well, with a floral, almost soapy hop finish. Overall pretty good. A good beer to remind me that fall is here. AirForceHops (7894) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - AUG 18, 2014
Sampled at 21A. Clear copper color with some white head. Nose is grassy hops, sugar and grain. Flavor displays the grainy body with a lasting, long grassy hop bitterness. Finishes dry and grainy with assertive bitterness that continues to linger after the sip. Solid over all. brokensail (16660) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 13, 2012
Pours a clear orange, amber color with an off-white head. Hop profile is dominated by the grassy notes. A light floral quality, a touch of bread, and some water. The flavor is quite grassy as well. Mild bitterness, a bit of citrus peel, and some sweet bread and toffee notes. Atheist_Peace (1042) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - SEP 29, 2012
Tap at 21A. Dark amber pour with nearly white head. Light hops on the nose with a real sugary note and not much else. A little lacking on the palate too but not bad as far as the fresh hopped beers I’ve had go. ngeunit1 (1555) - Waltham, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 13, 2012
A - Served a clear copper-orange color with a finger of frothy white head. Head fades down slow leaving behind some lace.

S - Aroma is full of fresh citrus hops with some sweet caramel malts and some light bread. There is some floral hop and grassy hop as well.
T - Starts off with some citrus and tropical fruit hops with some bitterness and sweet caramel malts. Through the middle, some more malt comes through with a bit more bitterness with some floral hops. The finish is a mix of tropical hops with bitterness and a bit of sweet malt.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a nice dry finish.
D - Very drinkable. Nice fresh hop IPA. Good hop and malt balance as well.
Had this during a 21A conference the Thursday of 2011 GABF. Very amazing fresh hop aroma, lots of flowery goodness with a bit of pine, very fresh smelling with a firm backbone of mild caramel. Taste was beautiful with flowery hops, yet not too bitter. Some slight pine, mild bitterness, a good sweet toffee backbone. Balanced but wii a gorgeous wet hop presence throughout. Loved this one! trokini (1025) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 27, 2008
Pours clear orange with a white ring of bubbles. Lots of caramel with some tropical hops in the nose. Kind of like a fruitcake. Earthy, yet citrusy in the taste. Grapefruit and blood orange. Good stuff. Snojerk321 (2984) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 27, 2008
Tap @ O’Brien’s. Burnt orange in color with an herbal hop nose. Flavor was a bit on the earthy side, different, good! alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - OCT 26, 2008
