With the initial pour, it appears rather thin, colored a clear pale honey-yellow. Thick wisps of a wheaty haze fall as it sits, eventually clouding the entire brew and darkening the color to a more uniform honey-gold though the thickness remains 0n the thin side. The carbonation is quick and sparkling, erupting as it hits the glass and building a nice 3-finger thick head of thin, lacy foam that sticks around for quite a while afterwards, falling into a gossamer ring and sheer patches as I sip it. While the bubbles seem hardy enough, they refuse to stick to the side of the glass, leaving no trace it was ever there. * * * The aroma is very light, carrying hints of watermelon and fresh-cut rind, minimal hops, faint grainy notes and some wheat malt, but none are heavy enough to make a lasting impression until the beer is near room-temperature. * * * Hell or High Watermelon holds a light body, dry mouthfeel, and moderate semi-spicy carbonation. The clean, crisp authentic watermelon flavor is immediately present at the forefront, and fades into a lighter, sweet melon tang while touches of grainy wheat and malt follow through to the end. The profile of this beer overall is very light, but that doesnt keep it from being the perfect thirst quencher, especially when its 115 outside. As much as I disagree with the current stereotypes of women and (fruit) beer, I think that this could be an awesome first step into the craft beer world for both men and women who are still trying to become interested and want to ease themselves in.

Pours a hazy pale yellow with a respectable white head with some lacing. Aroma is wheat malt and honey. Taste is sweet pale malt, some breadiness, and yes watermelon. Little to no hop bitterness. A decent thirstquencher.

Pours from the can a hazy straw yellow with a thin white head. Tons of artificial watermelon aroma on the nose. Taste is candy-like watermelon with grassy notes. Overall an easy beer to drink.

Light golden color with a wispy white head. Actually a decent watermelon brew. Not overly artificial. 6/11

can - cloudy pale golden color. Wheat flavor and aroma but not much watermelon. Nice and refreshing. And another really cool can!

12 oz can. Pours a clear yellow color with a distinct watermelon aroma. Taste is purely watermelon with a clean refreshing flavor throughout. A light wheat beer that quenched my thirst but was overwhelming with watermelon.

12 ounce can from Everetts in South Beloit, IL, served cold in an Ayinger glass (forgive me). Very pale, almost clear gold with a fully largish head that dies quickly....aroma at first of sour apples and cough syrup, not pleasant at all, but a so-so watermelon nose eventually appears, though its more reminiscent of cheap artificial candy than the real thing; still, not offensive enough to be gag-worthy as Id feared initially...body has a very light fruit-juicy character but is mostly lightly sour-tart with a particular kind of graininess that doesnt work - it comes off as poorly extracted, with most of the sugar erased and a grain-husky note in place of it...very thin, watery, moderately carbonated. Ultimately this is pretty terrible.

Pours opaque straw. Aroma corn, wheat. Taste is good light mouth feel. Get the watermellon in the finish.

Hazy straw color in the glass with a short-lived head. The aromas and flavors are equal amounts wheat, lightly sweetened cereal and grain, allowing the fresh watermelon to prevail clean crisp and refreshing.

2016/09/24 - Pours a hazy pale straw colour with a soapy white head that quickly reduces and leaves no lacing. Aroma is cereal, corn, hay, melon and light vegetal notes. Taste is corn and hay up front, wheat, light citrus and finishes with vegetal and melon. Mouthfeel is light to medium with average carbonation and sharp, slightly metallic finish. Ok. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
