With the initial pour, it appears rather thin, colored a clear pale honey-yellow. Thick wisps of a wheaty haze fall as it sits, eventually clouding the entire brew and darkening the color to a more uniform honey-gold though the thickness remains 0n the thin side. The carbonation is quick and sparkling, erupting as it hits the glass and building a nice 3-finger thick head of thin, lacy foam that sticks around for quite a while afterwards, falling into a gossamer ring and sheer patches as I sip it. While the bubbles seem hardy enough, they refuse to stick to the side of the glass, leaving no trace it was ever there. * * * The aroma is very light, carrying hints of watermelon and fresh-cut rind, minimal hops, faint grainy notes and some wheat malt, but none are heavy enough to make a lasting impression until the beer is near room-temperature. * * * Hell or High Watermelon holds a light body, dry mouthfeel, and moderate semi-spicy carbonation. The clean, crisp authentic watermelon flavor is immediately present at the forefront, and fades into a lighter, sweet melon tang while touches of grainy wheat and malt follow through to the end. The profile of this beer overall is very light, but that doesnt keep it from being the perfect thirst quencher, especially when its 115 outside. As much as I disagree with the current stereotypes of women and (fruit) beer, I think that this could be an awesome first step into the craft beer world for both men and women who are still trying to become interested and want to ease themselves in.

Tap; pours a hazy straw color with a white head; aroma of wheat, cereal, and hints of watermelon; taste is sweet and similar to the aroma but the watermelon is more noticeable but not over done; rather short and semi dry finish

Pour is a slightly murky or unfiltered gold. Smell of lager-type beer, sweet and no real complexity. The watermelon taste is there, its very light.

Poured from a can into a 6oz tasting glass. Nose is definitely a wheat beer, but mostly that "hay" smell without any fruit presence. For a wheat, it has a whimpy head; expected a pillow on top like Harpoons UFO. Light wheat unfiltered look with no lacing. Watermelon taste is evident in the first taste, but mellows the next couple of sips. Not really into it on a chilly March night, but could see it being a great selection in a cooler for a summer BBQ. Will revisit this May. Cheers.

Nice american wheat. Pours cloudly with thin head. Wheat on the nose but not much else. Up front watermelon almost artificial but crisp. Pretty decently refreshing on an 80 degree day. Not an all the time beer but great effort.

Rating #2488 - 2016.05.03 - This pours a cloudy yellowish with a small bubbly head that fades quickly. Aroma is of melon, yeast, clove, and coriander. This retains the character of an american wheat, some cracked pepper, some sharp bitter notes, while balancing mild melon sweet notes into the beer.

Pours a hazy pale yellow with a respectable white head with some lacing. Aroma is wheat malt and honey. Taste is sweet pale malt, some breadiness, and yes watermelon. Little to no hop bitterness. A decent thirstquencher.

Pours from the can a hazy straw yellow with a thin white head. Tons of artificial watermelon aroma on the nose. Taste is candy-like watermelon with grassy notes. Overall an easy beer to drink.

Light golden color with a wispy white head. Actually a decent watermelon brew. Not overly artificial. 6/11
